The last one he posted DOES work, but it is WinZip and 7zip and winrar should extract it. Extract to your desktop and then open the folder and double click Setup to install the game. Once it is installed you will probably not need the desktop folder any longer (but save it somewhere for later) Then download the 1.0.0.4 patch (from GTM downloads) and extract it to the Robot Arena folder (tell it to overwrite) and you are ready to go.

and just incase it matters, i run it with vista. run as admin,in compat. with service pack 2. and i did run a patch from the site. i deleted ui folder and replaced it. then ran patch. You did the 1.3 patch for the download version? i just want to get things working so my buddies can connect on game spy
DO NOT, DO NOT USE GAMESPY.....it is slow laggy and useless. Use the in game connect (one of you make the game and the rest join) or get hamachi and make a server. As for your problem putting components on, try uninstalling and reinstalling and then MAKE SURE you 1.3 patch with the download version as per instructions EXACTLY!

I built T-800 Terminator, unless you are talking about one after SC v3 I alway think of you as Fury, Tempus Fugit, and Maelstrom

CD image hey?
i know a site that gives u no CD patches for most computer games, but IDK if it has RA1
www.gamescopyworld
I don't think RA1 ever needed the CD in the tray to play the game. did they replace the sawz on Zombie or is ACAMS pic a rebuild?
That is the way Zombie looks in the game.

ACAMS, we already made the smartzones. We have never had an official SHW or UHW before, so why must you insist they are different than my choices?
Y'all do what ever you want, but if the game allows 249.0 LW and 399.0 MW you should not change that, and to be honest, Starcore wanted AW 125 and BW 175 LONG ago.......I was just telling you what it was in the beginning. because he is trying to set them to make it fair, so that 5,000 kg bots fight 30,000 kg bots, thats why antiballasts have limits
Who is to keep you from using 20 or 30 of them????? Who is to keep you from editing them to -99999999999999999 and using 20 or 30 of those?????

Be sure to go the the GTM downloads section and get the latest patch, because all CD's were 1.0.0.3 or older. Also the proper way to install a .iso is to install from your hard drive....THEN burn to CD to patch and/or play

MW has NEVER been 399 Back in the old days AW was 124.9 and BW was 174.9 (only recently has this changed)
What? I've built a few 399 kg MWs..
I am wrong again, I just built a 399.0 MW......actually, I think the 1.3 patch changed that.

Here is how it has been, and SHOULD stay! (SHW and UHW could stand change) Antweight (AW) = 124.9 kgs
Beeteweight (BW) = 174.9 kgs
Lightweight (LW) = 249.9 kgs (game allows 249.9)
Middleweight (MW) = 398.9 kgs
Heavyweight (HW) = 800 kgs
SuperHeavyweight (SHW) = 5000 kgs (1200 to 1500 sounds good)
UltraHeavyweight (UHW) = over 5000 kgs (anything over 1200 to 1500 ^^^)

If you check the setting in your profile for personal messages: "Remove the inbox label when applying another label" then using the labeling system will create "mail folders" and allow you to organize your PM's After checking this setting, then, in your Inbox, go over to the left under "Preferences" and click "Manage Labels". In the Add New Label field, type the name of the poster whose PMs you want to save. (You can actually type anything you want in the Label Name field….I named mine “Save”.) Then you will click "Add New Label" in order to see the name you typed appear in the top (Manage Labels) portion of that box. Put a check in the box next to where that name has appeared and click "Save". You have just created a label. Now, click over on the left under Messages on "Inbox". Check the small box by every message you have from that poster. When you have finished checking the boxes, then use the pull-down "Label Selected" that you will see next to the "Delete" button (just above where you actually read a PM). Select the name on the pull-down menu of the label you just created. All of the messages you have checked will disappear from your Inbox. When you go to the left and click on the name of the label you created (under "Labels") you will find those messages there. This will cut down on the clutter of too many messages piled up in your Inbox All that jabber means you can create a label for friends and make a rule that all their messages automatically go to their folder. I have requested a mod for an easy to use folder system, but don't get your hopes up!
