The Mute Team are awesome because they're from Stoke . I think they're the only competitors from my home town and they did quite well in New Blood.

Okay, I've renamed the blue.bmp to blue1.bmp and got a fresh gmf file and now when I go to extenders and click on it it, it still retains the standard steel texture of the normal flippermaker

You need to the .bmp to have the same number of characters as steel.bmp if you are going to edit it with just Notepad++ or else it will corrupt the .gmf file and crash the game.

Are you sure it hasn't actually changed? Because when that bmp gets scrunched down within the game, it's going to look like a plain grey block.
Just for a lark, change that bmp to something really noticeable like neon green, and confirm that nothing's changed.
Nope, no changes, it looks exactly like the standard flippermaker, I double checked And I will try the colours idea

Make new folder called flipperswegment and replace flippersegment after dir in the txt file and Put instead flipperswegment. Put new gmf in there as well. Should work.

Had no plans, just went straight in and did stuff  Plastic 5, npc drive, cruiserweight and very stable :D, now to work on others Thoughts? I honestly think we should have a 3000kg class, where most people hit a building speedbump (or is it 2500 kg ?) 5000kg just is too big and crashes the game.
What should it be called then? Super-ultra-Giga, are there any words to fit In between?

A catch weight is a term used in combat sports such as boxing and mixed martial arts to describe a weight limit for a fight that does not fall in line with the traditional limits for weight classes. since we are establishing this a couple of years after we did all the others

And you could pretend your on a 'cheap budget' and only use components under a specific weight limit
