This one came from the idea of making a simple bot with a gigantic, completely disproportional weapon compared to the rest of the bot. Nothing too fancy, except for the weapon. The enlongated chassis keep the bot from falling backwards and supporting the weight Note: some the halfed hex plates are shown black like if they're missing in some places but they are there. I got tricked several times into thinking I didn't place them yet when really they were already there.

So I cobbled this thing together from a bunch of parts I had in my inventory. It's very much a hit-and-miss vehicle.

Either I do awesome and demolish half the enemy team or I get jumped by a guy with a L3 SMG one minute in and get ravaged.
(Btw, the bot's name in English is "Hell's Traffic Accident")

When I have time, I'll get on adapting my Ironclad for the new Robocraft.
You probably need to pick a tier before you start, depending on the amount of RP you have at hand.
If you are going for Tier 5, you need L3/L3s equipments with full orange armor
If you are going for Tier 7, you need L4/L4s equipments with full blue armor
You can also undercut your speed to get even more armor, but I won't recommend that on a hovercraft. My guess on a good T7 hovercraft would be minimal amount of L4s pad for lift (probably 4), spam L3s thrusters for forward/backward, and L1s thrusters for turn.
but yes, you want to stay out of Tier 8 and up to avoid the fully loaded Tier 10.
Cheers for the tips, m8 I was just now changing my IronClad and got kicked out of the game due to an incoming update. Bummer. TBD, Yeah low lvl railguns are good for nothing, but L5 ones apparently are OP I made a giant tier 2 vehicle with 8 L1S railguns. I barely scratch the opponents.

Armor has always been insanely expensive to buy. I'm not sure if they lowered the price of armor now but 1 red armor for 3000RP is still quite expensive
I feel glad to have bypassed all the other newer armors, though.
When I have time, I'll get on adapting my Ironclad for the new Robocraft.
Whatever you do, just stay out of the way of L5 Railgun's. One single shot blew me off the entire front of my ship made out of layers of blue and orange armor plus an L5s hover blade in the way.

I haven't touched this game in quite a while. I'm gonna take a look at it soon.
Now with only 2 L5s Plasmas I get thrown to tier 9?! BS, I get completely raped by Tier 9's and 10' with a million L5S lasers! Their range also increased. I can't shoot from a safe distance anymore.
Railgun's are let down, imo

I will have to see about the "legitimately" full version of avast.
Also Windows 7 isn't too bad. Though it is a bitch on security.
I'll get Win7 alright. Security can be tuned down or disabled so that won't be a problem.

Avast is a good anti-virus once you "legitimately" acquire the full version of it.
I also had my share of legit downloads that were seen as viruses by avast. Just temporarily disable it while you're working on the download/installation.
Edit: Now that XP support is gone for good I must be more careful and think on updating it...
