I know i haven't been around too much lately and I had to cancel my last tournament, but Im no longer so busy and I have time to run this tournament So I present to you, The 2014 RA2 World Cup!

It Will be ran kind of like the world cup itself with the groups and knockout stages. Ill get to the rules in a second here.


Format)
1.DSL HW IRL 799.99 weight limit
2.4 groups of 4 so 16 entries in all. All robots will fight one another in the group so 3 fights guaranteed
3.Top 2 from each group advance to the knockout phase based on the points system
4.Knockout phase is single elimination 8 robot bracket based on a random draw (with a third place match)
5. Robot who wins the knockout phase is declared world champion.


Points system
1. A win will give you 3 points (even if it is forced to a judges decision)
2. A loss by knockout, OOTA, immobilization will result in 0 points
3. A loss by points at the end of time is 1 points
4. once again top 2 teams of each group advance


Rules etc etc
1. DSL HW IRL 799.99 weight limit
2. Arena is a skinned tournament arena
3. 1 entry per person
4. 2 minute matches
5. will be filmed with ZD soft
6. If it goes the distance the bot with the most points will win
7.No glitches narmour, DSA, BFE, etc
8. Only IRL bot types
9. multi bots are allowed (it doesnt matter how much each weigh but the total must not exceed 799.99)
10. two judge burst max
11. other parts allowed are

I am fully willing to switch to either Cyprus Or Greece, because i spent holidays there and they were very good. Its MKB's call whether he'd like to actually enter as england or leave the scraps to the biggest failure of all time, me.

I have! So that makes up the 16 entries guys. I will be working on the SBV expect them to come out very soon. Also if you don't tell me which country you are representing I will assign you one, but that only is 3 people right now iirc.

Either you or him are gonna get England lol you guys can talk it out if he decides to enter or not. Oh and only two spots left...

EDIT: for now I gave England to Avalanche since he entered before MKB.

So I guess if I ended sign ups now it would be four groups of 3 and the entrants seem to be slowing down now, but Im really hoping I get more entries to make it 4 of 4.

I would leave them open until the end of the week.
Anyways, I should send in something by the end of the week.

That sounds good. I'll leave it open until Sunday and hopefully I can get the splash and and groups ready sometime during Monday.
