A few things, myess...
- Center attachment points for the DSL end bars (20 to 30, 30 to 40, 20 to 40) - Perm drive motors, because I am insane - Maybe angled axles for the NPC motors, or a way to add a gearbox? - Edge attachment points for the armor plates
And maybe some improvements to the tank tracks, but I have a feeling I'm the only one who uses those.
EDIT: And find a way to make the game not mess with my system volume settings!
EDIT PART DEUS: And maybe a way to attach two motors to a disk/drum/bar/what have you.

Thanks! Only thing is it flips out when I try to drive straight. Anyone see why? I can't figure it out. Also gonna try to build some sort of big-ass clusterf*** IRL bot in DSL 3 to test out the game. I'll post the results, but it won't be a serious bot. EDIT: GENTLEMEN. I bring you the non-serious DSL 3 bot I was referring to!  Titanium 3, Vlad wheels That mystery device in the back is a cutting tooth. I put it there to stop it from getting too far under other bots.

Well, I am pretty sure the weapon DOES cut through that perm belt...
Actually Jonzu is correct, the Perm is only powering the drum. The extenders are attached to the chassis, as is explained below: (Image removed from quote.)

Gritty is nice, yes. However, I'm going to get more experience with the game before I go making things fancy. Anyways, managed to get large bars on it. The drum clears them, just barely.  Also swapped for Grannies because Tornado wheels were apparently not quite large enough.

Larger bars would be nice, yes. If I put a wedge on, it would be a realistic one that doesn't go through the floor. I hate those kind of wedges.

Looks good. I don't think the weapon will work very good though.
You're probably right, it's just an experiment however. If that's supposed to be IRL, you should try move the blade so it does not intersect with control or movement components (ie. wheels, control boards, motors, batteries, ect.), which I believe is one of the "rules" for IRL.
Alrighty, that's what I tried to do in the first place. I thought the bars looked like they were clear, but I can give 'em more room. The only realistic rule in standard is that components are not allowed to intersect other components. So no stacking, no spinning weapons through your batteries, etc.
Hokay, thanks for clarifying. The biggest thing about the realistic rule is intersection. That weapon cutting through the drive motors, wheels, control board, and batteries (and even its own weapon motor, if I'm looking at it correctly) as it spins is largely unrealistic.
As for functionality, having those beater bars on just one side isn't a good idea. Unless you're making some sort of slap machine, as the weapon spins, one rack of weapons will hit while the other one won't as much or at all.
Or, I might be stupid. I can't tell if the drum is attached to those extenders or not.
edit: If the drum is not attached to those extenders, then it's perfectly realistic if not kinda underweaponed.
The extenders are not, in fact, attached to the drum. I was looking at the weight I had left after the weapon was left and figured it could use some passive weapons / frontal wheel guards. EDIT:

Well, another thing I could do is use a different armor and add more bars. I checked Naryar's thread and it seems I misread the good ones. Edit: Alright, swapped out armor for Plastic 5, wheels for Tornado and the titanium extenders for aluminum to allow for more bars while still having the weight for semidecent protection.

It begins! I probably should have read the new rules before I deleted my old showcase. They didn't say not to do that unless I misunderstood them, though. First off, I bring you Convolution. I started out with the objective of building a realistic horizontal spinner, then it morphed into... whatever it is.  Steel 3 Please tell me how I can improve!
