Well, I'm not surprised that i got owned this time...

Hopefully if the next tournament is DSL I can send in one of my better bots.

Here is a new video, and incase you want to see how well mine can really do, watch what Destroyer does to Mako ;).

Well, there's NO way IC 2 can't get under Thor 3- look at that big ground clearance.

Against Destroyer (what a generic name...), I really don't know - Destroyer can't possibly flip IC 2's wedge design and IC 2 won't get under Destroyer easily. I have the edge in defense/mobility, he has the edge in offense.

These DSL bars are a great idea indeed. I find them more cool-looking than the usual hinged wedge.

The names are intentionally generic, and there are some times when it will tip over even with those bars, like it did at 5:30 in the video.

If you want to see how it works, it is on the last match in this video.

The balance bars are also more effectiive for me than using the wedge, it is a little bit easier to make because there are not as many extenders, and I can get other bots stuck on them. But there is also a little bit les protection, but how strong the weapon is makes up for it.

I would like to see more people use that kind of balance system for a VS, so far I think mine are the only ones I have seen that are set up like that.

I see i'm not the only one who submitted a dual perm powered VS...
Good luck to you.

Yeah, I think the only reason there isn't more of them is because of how they can throw themselves pretty far, but that weapon is really powerful. I can beat Mako pretty easily with it because it is quick, and its armor is strong enough to withstand a few good hits.

I would also suggest a splash, but if anyone wants to see mine here it is...

What do you think about the bots that are entered so far?

I have 6 RA2 videos up, and I am thinking about making one that is just footage of my VS beating up other robots, and I might do one that is 3 rounds against Mako...

The big one is really fun to use against Wrecktangle, almost every part on it will be ripped off in 3 minutes =).

Like I said, I just wanted a simple match to show how they worked.

I was just keeping it simple so I could show how the weaker ones worked. But I do have problems with it in places like the Ice Arena, where it will throw itself into the air and lank in a spike pit.

And this always happens against a fast robot that keeps shoving me back into the spikes [**** you Emergency!]...

Here is a video I made today that shows off how they work in battle. And I apologize for not having any sound, Gamecam sucks.

Will any of the arenas Clickbeatle made be in DSL 2.2?

The HW one goes fast enough for me, and I'll see if I can find some wheels that are grippy but light enough to keep me from rebuilding the chassis.
