I am glad that my bots AI wasn't stupid enough to go after S32's bot that much. If it had the outcome would have been completely different.

No it just means that now the bracket will work like so A vs B vs C, A vs B vs C, D vs E vs f, and D vs E vs F. This is how i am thinking it will go or at least this is my understanding of the bracket for the second round. The third round will consist of the two winning bots from the second round. And the final round will be made up of the four round three winning bots.

Im really struglging here! I can seem to be able to make adecent MW at all, and I have decided to not enter Minesweeper in a 3rd tournament in a row!

So your suffering from builders block. My advice would be to just take a break off from the game for a day or so, and then come back and see if you can come up with something.

I think the eliminator round is probably the best way to go , and since it's only two bots it wont be just by luck like the 4 way eliminator would have been.

due to the lack of hazards it shouldn't make a difference .... I still have no idea why it wont move in starting position 2 lol. it still spins but its stuck on the one spot and just gets counted out ??? lol

Yea that is really weird i have never had a problem like that before.

Mark the whole point of bot of the month is to basiclly build the best looking bot. A bunch of competitors enter bots that are then posted on the first page of this thread the community then judges them and the winner is the bot with the most votes. The winning bot is then posted on gametechmods.com. But make sure to follow the rules which are also posted on the first page.

mine is pretty simple really and i didn't even bother to test how effective it was against other DSL AI so it will defiantly be interesting to see how well it really ends up doing.

I was wrong about the flipper/multi bot combo sorry for making that very bold statement based on only my personal experience with multi bot flippers. Thanks for correcting me click.

I am going to say that no one will probably want it because flippers that don't do any damage are not very effective because a lot of bots are invertable. The other main reason is because in a multi bot competition flippers are not usually that effective.

Today at football practice we where running a drill where an offensive and defensive lineman would go head to head and a running back (thats me) would try to make it by the D lineman. The only trick to this is that you have to run in between to bags that are about 2-3 yards apart which doesn't leave you a lot of room. As i cut to the inside of the lineman he  dropped his block and hit me in the knee and a combination of how he hit me and how i fell led to me dislocating my knee. Which led to a hospital trip and getting it popped back into place which was probably one of the most painful things that i have ever had done. I have to get an MRI tomorrow to make sure there isn't anything else wrong and then i should be able to go back to practice hopefully before the first game.
