hahah you're too kind my friend. I really appreciate the kind words, but trust me, i have teams full of unfinished bots too. Sometimes that's just what works, I sit on designs for weeks at a time and then come back and it works out.
If you ever wanna bounce some ideas off each other or need some tips on skinning, im down. I abandoned the skype group for like a month and came back now and its pretty much dead, but i still talk to myself there sometimes.
I was shocked to see a post in my thread, though. I've been cookin in the lab for the past few weeks but havent finished anything. youre making me want to post something lol

This sounds like a really good idea to me.
While we're talking about modifying existing DSL components, maybe we could re-do some of the replica components to fix their attachment points, to make them more useful and easier to build with? Obviously we'd have to make new copies of the components so the replicas still worked, but this would be really useful to anyone who wants to use a tornado wedge, for example, and doesn't want to deal with the off-centre attachment point.
I'm just learning to edit the gmfs myself, so soon I might be able to do this bit, if people think it's a good idea.
I like this idea as well. Balanced replica parts with fixed attachment points would be cool. We should just work from the dsl beta though. right? It would help Click along at least. Maybe I'll actually release my IRL ai pack.

yea yea and I bumped my head and they asked if I was gonna flip it on em.....I said yea yea flip mode is the greatest. I'm actually a pretty big fan of busta, even if he's off steroids and looks inflated. The song abstract dragon with q-tip is tight, you should check it out. As for the bot it looks pretty cool. It is most likely underpowered as  if it is a middleweight though. If you're doing and IRL flipper, I'd suggest the judge burst motor so you don't have to use so much weight on the beta and sh** kgs of batteries.

Why do you have a pic of yourself that looks like it was taken by a professional modeling agency?
I'm an actor, so this was to expand my acting portfolio.
Unfortuantly the agency holding auditions didn't accept me, none the less they offered to take photos for a price of like £35 which you get a fair few pics plus a little coaching in posing.

Thanks for bumping this thread, jaydee. Reading the posts over here, the sorrow is almost palpable. It is really interesting to see how attached we can get to one another through simply communicating through a forum.
