I think there was always going to be some sort of problem due to the fact that so many people tried to enter for a 16 bot bracket. Coupled with the fact that 090901 is only human (At least I'm presuming he is) and is therefore not immune to mistakes. Oh well. C'est la vie.Best of luck in the main bracket. Tell me what it's like there :P

Another camera method. I suggest practicing a bit with it before filming actually. Imagine orbit, only with translational movement.

I know it's first come first serve like all other tournaments, and I would probably have gone out in the first round anyway. But still.

DP:  I bit the bullet and redid the chassis. It was needlessly tall. See the pic in my previous post for insides. It's pretty much the same. It has a caster on the bottom for some protection. Other than that I have no idea what to use the weight on.

How much pmbombing do you have to do in Ra2tc vertigo?
You keep the robot types quite open, this is going to narrow the robot types down even further so I suspect that a few people may be put off when they find out the have to make a clamp robot or something.
Oh and RJPK, maybe, depends how well this one goes :P

You would suffer the same problem I had with RA2TC though, people signing up but not sending a bot :/
I know, but I like to think people would think about if they have the time/effort to make the robot before signing up to this as not to waste my time.I'd also have a backup brigade who would jump in if anybody had to pull out, or if someone didn't get a robot in the backup brigade would have a week or so after the normal deadline to get the backup robot in.
