You know what could be really cool? If you made the AI harder as the match wore on if you were beating the ai bot too bad, like in desperation. I don't really understand the workings of it but you may be able to get it to work along with the crowd's reaction to the fight? Just an idea.

I remember drawing plenty of cars like that. I've since moved onto more realistic 3d cars in one point perspective, you should give it a shot.

Robot Wars with Mick Foley was the only one I ever saw as a kid.

Sonny mentioned my old Wheely Big Cheese replica in a bot exchange thread, and it brought back old memories. I had to give it another shot. At the time of my original replica there were a few other WBC replicas floating around, but they were all normal flippers. The real WBC was not a normal flipper. It's flipper was basically the top cover of the bot, as seen also in the DSL Replica. With only stock parts, however, it is a little more challenging. I came up with the idea of having the chassis itself lift into the air, forced upwards by 2 red extenders on DDTs. It looks a little more true to the original in my opinion. I could have skinned the chassis and the wheels better, but you get the idea.

You guys are lucky, my Halloween always sucks, last night, my older brother was sick and my parents were out, so i had to watch my brother in case he pukes. So i ended up watching 3 hours of the crap shows on the SPEED channel. Be happy you have the speed channel. Plenty of shows I would have liked to have seen there.

Redefining the term heavily armored Vs... 4 Casters... 4 SnowPlows... 2 Lawnmower blades... 4 Hp Drive... 8 Irons... 2 Black Batteries... The ugliest stock bot to ever fight in the arena, I give you the Battle Slug:

So close that I would have used Irons but they would hit the ground. The drive motors NEED to be turned around because it will not turn at any measurable speed how it is.

Battle Slug, an idea for a bot I'm working on. Lot of stuff that I need to work out, I'll keep you posted.

They would if you turned the motors 90 degrees wouldn't they?

turn the baseplate anchors 90 degrees and use the regular attachment point on the extender to make the motors' flat sides parallel to the ground. Then use shinies.

I would leave it. 8WD in that style is hard to do in RA2.
