Also i THINK that if you have them extenders theyll be very grippy,and slow the bot down.Then you have VERY weak extenders.
Im no space arena expert for ceirtain,but isnt there a Robot X style castor you could use?

One of those Sheck Spinner armour panels on a burst over an eye.
You hit the nail on the head. Except id use a custom motor,a controlled one. Or a servo,thats tweaked to be silent. Sonnys right though,it would be unwieldly.
