As far as Robot Wars being a game show, I believe it was Enigma or SKBT that worded it best...
"Battlebots was a competition for robotic combat that happended to be on TV. Robot Wars was a TV show that just happened to involve robot combat."
All the Comedy Central airings of Battlebots were condensed and dumbed down for the audience. That doesn't mean the competition itself was like that. Therefore, GF's "Carmen Electra's rack" argument is invalid.

The rice most likely got the majority of the moisture out. I don't think it would be an issue. Either way, he's got nothing to lose at this point. Edit: Could also try dousing it in rubbing alcohol. 90% or higher would work the best. Alcohol evaporates very quickly compared to water. Doing this plus the rice trick may give some kind of results.

Useful? The first rule is no longer relevant since Pys and MV aren't even around anymore. Do you even know who "MV" is referring to? I doubt it... The second rule is common sense. Anyone without common sense wouldn't last a day here. The third rule is something that is learned the first day, assuming they weren't eaten alive yet.
