Another one! This time, Eye Poker. Evil Eye PokerHad fun on this one. Inspired of DSL's rebuild Eye Stabber. Not very handy compared to my regular heavyweights, but a correct engineering, and the first serious use of bursted drive motors. And I am sure it could be very destructive with a lot of driving practice. But spears are really for excellent drivers... Weight: 788,3 Drive: Four GrannyGuards on HP Zteks on Snapper2's Power: 2 black batts, 2 normal air tanks Armor: Steel Weapons: -Spear, 4 razors mounted on one 100cm piston -Ram, for a total of 3 70cm pole spikes, 5 of 50cm and 4 of 30cm + Very few unused space + Good damage if used correctly + Invertible + Good speed - Difficult to drive efficiently (due to drive motors on burst motors) - Very fragile spear - Low armor - Need to aim carefully even for the ram

Yep. A team battle.
By the way you can theorically use multibots yourself ! because if you enter several human controlled bots you can control all of them. just be sure to use different keys for the controls of each bot.

I'll compete. I'll made an inverted popup (e.g. a flipper but with weapons), sorta Matrix Array.
We need to set the weight clas too. I think Lightweights are out.

Juggler... Lmao. Never thought such a name exists.
The things that annoys me is that Neglected Waterbug has the SAME weapons as mine and he does way more damage !

That's it. First rebuild of a stock bot. Better than I expected for a fast rebuild (not more than 1/2 hour). Dire Backyard RipperType: HW, hmmm... DFS (diagonal face spinner. lol) Weight: 729.6 Drive: 2 grannyguards on hp zteks Weapons: Twin spinning HP Ztek-powered discs, 4 maces and 4 iron spikes on each (Possible flipper, but not used now: two small wedges on Snapper2's) Power: Two black batts. + Nice defenses. + Particularly good wedges, and able to rip off the enemy's wedges easily + Specially designed to gut-rip the opponent and does this well + Attracts the opponent on top of him ( generally helpless) + Lots of hits - Low damage - Side ramplates are easy targets for enemy's wedges - Chassis too big (but it could not be helped) - Not-so-tough weapons

It looks cool. Very cool indeed. If you want some help , but not too complex, I am free in June.
Oh, btw, do not involve money into this like RA1. It's complex enough.

I would have also used one - my first, if I can get the glitch to work.
BTw, do you guys tried ruptig hammers, and are they efficient?

Very easy SD.
The two front spinner's Zteks are each on baseplate - 40cm extender - 45 degrees angled connector - HP Ztek- tribar - one iron spike on each AP.
And i think the front plow is connected to the left baseplate. Perhaps you put a triple connector and 20cm extender on the left baseplate instead of a 40cm one.
Oh and if the attachement limit does not poses a problem you should try to adapt my weapon setup on the VS, that is to say with the effe glitch, stacked weapons are way more efficient if you put them very close. You'd had to add a 20cm extender, however, and this will augment the reach of your VS, possibility causing problems with the VS touching the ground.

A hybrid, heh ? Good idea. Reminds me of ACAMS's spinners.
Oh, I understood, the two front spinners feed the enemy bot to the VS. Yes the vs bounces, it's natural if you put it on burst motors. normally it's more stable on servos. if you want to keep the DDT add front wedges and perhaps stabilizers on the sides. Or just heighten a little the vs. Looks like a cool offensive combo. I wonder if it works well ?
Nice design, although try not to use angled connectors, it's weight lost and with a little practice you can generally just use round extenders. You could use a snapper II for the drive stacking. Or it's perhaps too unstable.
And the two front ends of the T chassis are too long. perhaps the rear end too, although way less.
I'm pretty sure you could save at least 30 kg on this one.

Well, I'm not a fan of complex spinners. WAY TOO much havok. And it lags badly.
Perhaps make the principal spinner rotating in one way, and the secondaries in the opposite way for reducing the gyro forces. This could help but im not really sure.
Or you can make two main HS (attached to your baseplate (rotating in two different ways). They have the same problems on helicopter, you know !

I would join with joy, but I could need how to use that damned rupt glitch which doesn't works.

I was thinking one black was enough for 4 hp zteks. I tried stacking 2 blacks on this one, used the zoom glitch but didn't worked.
Sheesh... stacking another BB and tightening the chassis at the same time... well, i suppos on's bot is never good enough.

For the VS - you mean that 1 black batt is enough?
For the BW- yeah, but the iron spike mades for a good backup weapon.

Not bad, a little plating in front of the spinner is always welcome. And there's some right here.
The VS are unstable, this is their main problem. The other one is that the strike zone is fairly narrow.
Otherwise they're great, my favourite design, they can rip your enemy's guts, striking at a vulnerable bottom (generally, but caster armor is another thing), taking of their traction, so as long as you are under you enemy and spinning at his bottom he cannot do a lot of things to you. Also they are vulnerable to horizontal spinners, at least in real life (Nightmare VS Warhead, or Nightmare VS SoW). But this can be solved pretty easily: just some well placed front ramplates and you got a much better chance of winning versus a HS.
The discs look too heavy to be put on a snapper II to me. I will suggest getting off the eight perpendicular spikes directly attacjed to the disc, and make a V shaped front defense by using two horizontal ground scraping ramplates, see before.

What's with this lousy off-topic advertisment CUDA? lmao. just kidding.
You could make a flipper tournament into the Octogon Arena. Believe me, they'll be a lot of bot flight here and "goal!" in the deathpits here. There they'll be flippers and rams too, a good fight there.
Perhaps put a house rule as "at least one burst motor firing upwards in the bot" (e.g. flipper or popup)

AAM? You cheater. I wondered how could you have put 4 iron spikes on it...
You BURSTED two stacked HP Zteks? This thing should land 1000 points blows very often... even more.
Too offensive for me. I prefer less powerful weapons and decent speed and defense rather than damage all the way. Wait, one of these weapons would weigh a minimum of 230kg... damnit.

... Right. I was thinking too the MW chassis was big, really big... at least i'll get more armor.

Yes there are 2. Don't used the eFFe glitch. The side spikes are for stability.
But you're right i could loose one or two side spikes and tighten the chassis, for adding onespike on each. Yeah with the eFFe glitch, adding one ( adding two is too much, remember the're only ztek-powered, a tribar with 4 spikes on each AP will be a nearly 156kg weapon if you use the effe glitch and have twin double stacked spikes on each...)
... What? 72kg of added weapons ??? Hmm, even if I put a snapper II for the wedges, this will be very close...

Another one! This time a BW. This is finally quite nice because it can be everything, from rams to HS or even spears. And they're soooo cute XD. The big problem is that batteries decrease very fast. Hybrid Thwack/Snapper2-powered hammer (spike at the rear) The problem was, with two pink batts, he's underpowered. So I made another version: hybrid Thwack/VS, same batteries. Now he's not underpowered. He makes very little damage (15-30 by hit), but more reliable than the hammer. And i've NEVER seen a so stable VS (it must be said that he spins quite slow however)

Well a big HW could be destroyed quite easily by three lightweight popups.
But a HW HS could maul them all... perhaps not three LW rammers... oh, not sure.
I must have a LW ?? Oops. Oh well, this seems logical. Alright i'll build one... but i definitely don't like very much LWs.
So, bassically, you could have, in order to enter this tourney: -Three lightweights OR -Two middleweights and one lightweight OR -One of each weight (LW,MW,HW)
The only problem is that three lightweights (max weight near 745 kg) does not match a HW's 799.5 kg. And two 245kg lightweights are way heavier than a 395kg MW.
Must you exactly match the weight or it is good because of superior numbers?
