I actually don't think there are better alternatives than tribar for that particular situation. 200cm dsl bar only has 2 end, and 200 disk has even lower HP/Kg ratio.

Go with a half sheet on the bottom instead of another flipper. Mount that half sheet vertically as far back as you can and you got yourself the tail. Add a 40 polycarbonate skirt in the back if it's still not long enough. That will definitely offer more survivability. I suggest either mount the npc fast internally somehow, or go back to using NPC normal. NPC normal have 12000 HP, they won't need protection. NPC fast has 400, and is only useful when directly connected to chassis.
Again, use vlad wheels. If it give you invertability issue, use slipper bottom wheels (yes the collision is that much wider, check by pressing F12). Avoid the rubber wheel you are using. I am starting to like slipper bottom more than vlad due to it's superior collision box.
I still like piglet over TWMR, even for potter wheels. This bot is about defense right? For extenders, avoid normal extenders. Use either DSL bar, flipper segment, hex slave, dsl disk, or 40cm skirts.

I think you might need more weapons. 40kg worth usually isn't enough. If you like Sk drill, Maybe you can try 4 x piglets/sk drill. And use vlad wheels while you are at it. You will need to have 6 ant batters for 6 motors though.
I would avoid TWM3R myself, but you can try both if you want.
Here's the stat for both motor if you are interested
Piglet 20kg, 116 max speed, 10 acceleration, 8000 HP TWMR 30kg, 139 max speed, 16 acceleration, 400 HP
For just 1 SK drill I think a piglet is enough to power it, and the HP difference is too big to ignore.

Maybe I should consider making an SnSnS myself, through I would probably have to work out some technical difficulties for the various changes I want to make to it.

Lol I love FBS.py
But just to let you know, it functions best for bots design for it. Mobility comes at a price. As you move forward not only do you lose speed, but you also need to spin back up fast enough because you also move toward the opponent. If you want the maximum spin speed FBS_1 is the way to go.
Through if it does work it will be a lot more entertaining to fight against.

I like the colors on the bots.

ROTA needs no more than 4 ant batteries (I would use 3). That, and you can try using techno destructo wheels on it. For SnS with only 2 side you need all the spin speed you can get to swap away popups and gutrippers. Use a shorter dsl bar if you need the weight.

Well, here's my take to it.
Get rid of the wheel protector (spike, angled pane, extenders). That should free up 32kg for weapons.

Aren't there a lot of tournament clips or showcase clips out there on youtube? Instead of making new ones maybe you can just ask permission to use existing ones.

I understand how much focus there is on wedges but there are ways around
on a side note backlash features next to no wedge building materials
I agree. Back in the days there are only 2x metal hinge/2x 120 angle titanium skirts, 56kg total. Nowadays to consistently win the wedge war you need 2x bsg/6x flipper segments/2x small wedge, that's a total of 88kg for a wedge that breaks on impact. Since the only bots you have to worry about not getting under happens to requiring upper wedge (say skirt hinge on titanium sheet), that's another 35 kg. So you essentially have 123 more kg to work around the wedge with. It shouldn't be too difficult to come up with something that does. I guess you guys can be the judge as to rather or not me and/or Joe are successful at doing so once NAR AI come out.

Am I the only one who thinks that NAR AI made DSL less about laid back competition and changed it to "I HAVE THE BETTER WEDGE FAGGOT GTFO GTMS!"
It feels that way to me...
Hey at least none of the bots I am sending has wedge. So there are 2 teams without wedge at least.

Disk VS without wedge.

I would suggest 8 razor tip on 8 medium beater bar (116kg), or 8 ds light teeth 8 on heavy beater bar (120kg) instead of 12 iron spike and 4 polycarbonate extenders (128kg). You might also want to use the extra weight to upgrade your disk.

I should be able to build something by the 10th.

Is this for DSL? I might send a few of my weird bots in that doesn't make the cut for NAR AI. They aren't killers but they are something different I guess.

I don't even know Metal Munchers is for DSL.

You only needed 4 ants max for this bot. So you won't need to stack.

Well, a 550 watt can probably handle a GeForce 9600 without overclocking, and also fit within your expected price range. Through I can't say I know much about the video card department.

get rid of the 2 polycarbonate skirt. All they do is make your wedge worst.
