It seems that on tabletops, there is a certain randomness to who survives. This seems mainly do to the AI, especially visiible when you ram a robot off the edge, and the AI doesn't stop it as fast as it could. Thus, having two bots would make it more likely not to fall off.

I dont think a virus can get to a computer just by chatting and using the program as a LAN connection. You would have to open the two computers more to each other.
