Hey, nice baseplate coloring Sage. Its true than the default one is not very clear. I'll think about modifying the colors too.

That still mades 8 components on each DDT... but I dont understand really this rule of 7.

Well if you say so, for the 2 snappers, you can have put the wedge part one AP and the drive part on another. that still makes for the problemwhen you want to move the position of the angled thing for the snapper, rotating the extenders for effeing all the mess, the current design make that this rotating can get out the wedge part off the bot but not the drive one, and no effeing for the drive then.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that you put the two snappers in the rear corners, facing each other (so aligned in the left right axis) and put a straight extender directly to the 2 ones that support the drive, then put another straight, on the other snapper AP, but shorter, and make a right angle with another extender, and this right angle leads to wedge/ramplate. Then the two parts are fixed on the same snapper. And same thing with the other. And if you rotate the snapper and put all the thing out of the chassis, you can barely put the wedge/ramplate thingy (short extender, short distance to the chassis).

And so it makes 7 parts (long extender, 20cmextender, another one, two Zteks and two rubber wheels) for the drive thing and at least 6 for the wedge and ramplate.

But the problem is that the two extenders (in fact 6) between the Zteks are in the middle of the battery's width, so if you see the snapper II's size it will be a problem to stack him with this design, even if you put the drive on the servo reacting AP (rear) and the ramplate/wedge on the burst reacting AP (angled thingy).

I guess I'm not "sage" (wise) enough to figure that... you guys could give a try too.

I cant believe that! Its awesome!

...Wait! The four DDTs are only weapon ones. So you effe glitched 4 razors on each... two stacked (so actually each visible extender and razor put on the DDT is in fact two). But a thing I don't understand is that this violates the rule of 7 (that makes 8 parts, so 4 20cm extenders and 4 razors, on each DDT...)

I suppose you made the same thing with the HPZteks, so actually there are 2 HPZteks in one. Andso the wheels are exactly at the same place too... Because between the 2 Zteks there are 2 extenders visible, so actually 3 in reality (one within another). This stacking must be repeated for the other pair of Zteks, staked like the first, so 6 extenders on 2. (not stacked, but you turned the snappers holding them so that they overlap)

But then you need at least 2 snappers to effe glitch all these motors... I guess its Snapper II's...

Seeing the wedge and ramplate position, the only thing I can think of is that you stacked 2 Snapper II's in each battery, perhaps even stacked them together, and then used 2 for the drive and the other 2 for the ramplates and wedge. Two are pointing to the front (parallel), and the other ones are pointing to the left for one, and to the right for the other.

I dont think there are only 2 snappers, so one in each battery, because this will violate the rule of seven.

*gets an aspirin*

Huh. Use normal parts instead of cheatbot2 ones. Its more challenging.

Agreed Sage. I think ramplates have 2000 health.
Ramplates have their place... well, in a U or V-shaped front clamp (hammer, VS), or on a wedge (popups)... but I must agree that they're not that useful on HS's. Excepted if you make a HW with a LW chassis...

Well, his main weakness is that he's a real octopus that is, he's not compact and so easy to dismantle. And he hasen't got a real front anti HS trap (I got some credit to Ordo Malleus for this one) .

That's just because snowplows are HUGE and that's the first time I use them on a bot..

Thanks for the feedback guys.

You know what? That hammer just got owned by Vortex CE. I guess he's WORSE than the V9, excepted the wedges. The range of the weapons is lame, the katanas go UNDER the other bot's wheels, and i cant immobilize a HS properly.  And i fought so well to stack the damned blacks...

Damn, I made perhaps three remixes of the v9 hammer and they are worse...

Thanks for the building tips R0B0SH4RK. You mean balancing the weight when putting the wheels at the middle of the baseplate? A little like the kids toy that does wobble but does not fall?

Its quite easy for the popup. I put on the snapper one 40cm extender starting from a side attachement point, eFFe glitched one more 40cm extender, with side APs horizontal and getting away from the bot (left for left, right for right). Then eFFe glitched the Zteks and the wheels on it. They're all attached on the second extender.

Stego's replica is cool.
I wanted Dark Destroyer to win :( (bur even if he looks cool, the engineering's average)

Perhaps I'll made a replica of it, too.

I expected some feedback.. but nevermind.

Anyways, heres an offspring of my first hammer bot. Sorry for the reskins but my DSL and  Starcore (stock) versions of RA2 lags to death. There's a mess with the Teams folder on Starcore version... but it'll be easy to fix that.

Cult of Violence V12

Due to the previous issues i never faced a Starcore bot with this one. He barely got under Emergency's wedges.

Power: 2 stacked blacks
Drive: 2 grannyguards on snapperII-bursted HPZs
Armor: DSA
Weapons:
- 2x Vertical hammer, each four iron spikes on a DDT
- 2x Side hammer, each a double bladed katana on a snapper2 (yes, i know, it is a little slow)
- Some spike strips which are really secondary weapons

Some ideas from you guys?

They have the same Health ???

I never thought that. But it seems that everyone is using plows... so it is the reason.

You could eFFe some static spikes crossing the front defensive ramplate, then (I guess one is enough finally). That'll made for defense and offense, as you know. Certainly useful for breaking a few of your opponent's weapons. And this will made a ram hybrid, although a weak ram. Could be useful against pure rams (HS worst enemies with hammers), for avoiding enemy spikes to touch your chassis. And so your HS's will spin easier when pinned by a ram.

And try to put these spinning irons very close to the ground, some kind of undercutter, better against popups.

Put a ramplate instead of a snowplow. Perhaps you can reduce the chassis width for two thirds of the actualy width, and stacking  the Snapper II's, and then put another ramplate.
