I think its hardest to beat there, but for me it is the three together. Very good question sage... we have to make a philosophics topic on this one. 25023

You mean the VS...
Well, the major problem with Tip of Violence (the LW ram/ham) is that he cant drive in a straight line. But ill consider swapping wheels and battery. Why does it improves handling, btw? 25024

You dont need 2 pictures to have a global view of that bot because he's fairly simple. It is symmetrical excepted for the hammer, of course.
Nope, he obviously didn't talked about your bot. 25025

7000kg bots suck. Make a very good LW, this is the proof of greatness.

Stock Showcases / Naryar's Stock Stuff« on: May 20, 2008, 04:29:52 PM »
Huh. I rebuilded the LW clone of my MW hammer/rammer. Less efficient in the weight class I think, but still won against Tempus Fugit for his second fight. (lost to him for his first, but I was discovering this bot's driving)

OK. Thanks to the feedback from you guys, i've built a second version of my LW VS
IDK why, but he fairs largely better against HS. As expected, a little weaker against popups. Stacking that control board into the Nifty was a damn good PitA. 25034

LMAO!
I agree with CUDA, Id like to see SHW tournies and we could showcase them "officially" as a normal weight class. This is actually a good idea FC, but i dont really like the MHW name... 25036

Perhaps not CUDA, but when you see how many HSs ACAMS built...
And what about Starcore having 3 HSs in his personal team (perhaps even 4 in starcore 4)? And he just implied that he was when I asked to him. 25037

Use your brain. No components passing through others. Excepted the ones you can cut holes in. No stacking. No 120 kg weapon setups on polycarbonate extenders. Thats it.

Discussion / Favored Hybrid type« on: May 20, 2008, 06:33:37 AM »
What hybrids do you like the most/ build the most/ are more efficient, according to you ? Or you dont like them?
The most efficient type must be VS/HS. Vertical Hammers/Rammers are cool (my speciality. dont think this design is used a lot, excepted Rammers/Side Hammers) Rammers/ Flippers are really efficient too (Acmme Moving Men). Rammers/HS are decent too. Pokers/Rammers are pretty good. HS/SnS are very efficient (SpyGuy from Inf) Finally, Side Hammers/Vertical Hammers are pretty good against all types of spinners if well used. 25040
DSL TC Showcases / Team Warpstorm bots« on: May 20, 2008, 06:22:34 AM »
I dont use and dont like HS and FS (huh. excepted perhaps for Dire BR but that was a replica at the beginning), cause I have more of a challenge without them and I do want to be specialized builder, as CUDA, Starcore and ACAMS which are HS specialists.
I am more of, in favor order, Vertical spinners, popups, rams and hammers. |
