Hey everybody, go give money to my cousin.  He's making a cartoon series, but isn't earning any money despite the sh**-ton of product placement.  So he wants people to give him donations.  Watch the episode and then give him money

they wont answer my question :(

(Image removed from quote.)

How long ago did you sumbit it? It may look like he's ignoring your   question, but he probably is just flushing out a backlog, starting with   the oldest Q's.  Trust me, Mark ignoring a troll is about as commonplace   as a convenience store clerk at a steakhouse

At least do it right, Hurricane.  You can't troll him by saying "Run Amok sucks" when he responds with "yes it does."

They probably just haven't gotten around to it yet - one of those new questions was mine from over a day ago.  Besides, Mark not feeding the trolls is about as likely as catching a hummingbird with vinegar.

Aaron's treated like he's the king of combat robots.

News flash, winning one tournament with a crappy bot doesn't make you the greatest.

Is there anyone else who could answer IRL robot building questions?  SKBT's boycott means nothing if the boycttee is a monopoly.

Credit where credit is due THIS is how you own an "Ask Aaron" troll, one of my favourite responses

tl;dr version "Yeah Runaway does suck, but I sure as hell knew how to milk the television circuit"

@whoever this is, you're a retard.

I'd say the real retard is the anyone who thinks that Mark "owned" that troll

*sigh* Didn't get credited even thought I pretty much wrote the entire script for Parts 2 and 3 of Headbanger142's Robot Wars review.  He sure as hell remebered to credit the unnecessary Green Day music, though

Feh, it's probably because he didn't even read them, considering how much important stuff got left out.

I'm tempted to just borrow my brother's video camera and do the whole thing my god damned self.

Wait, this is their main bot?
(Image removed from quote.)

If I drew the worst bot I could think of...

Steep wedge
Not invertible
No side/back/underneath armor

It's cannon fodder for pretty much every bot type. Did it actually win anything?

It won the first season of Robotica.  The final itself was a 3-way where Tricerabot suicide-bombed Ram Force to give Run Amok an easy win.

But credit where credit is due, it was very clever of them to ditch the wedge in the "Fight to The Finish" against Killer B (flat weaponless box-wedge) - rather than engage their opponent in a wedge war that they'd probably lose, they would dodge Killer B's charges by rolling right over it, and it worked.

ass. I've asked for research help many times before and they alwaysr respond with one of these two

1. LOL we no longer answer these questions lol  :coolface
2. *insert smart ass story about the robot in question committing suicide here*

EDIT: Vertigo I know it's you asking about UK VS US robot combat :L

You're certainly optomistic if nothing else.  What exactly are you gathering this research for?

Also, am I the only one who can't comprehend why they'd show you this screen after you submit your question?  Seems kind of pointless to show you this crap once it's too late to edit you message:

Best cancelled show ever!

Uhh... that would be Arrested Development

It's gotta be "Firefly."  Granted it's a very close race.

If he isn't mentally challenged I have no ****ing clue what was going on during robot wars.

I'm no doctor, but I'd wager good money that he and his father Mark both have Aspergers.  The phrase "Don't feed the trolls" is completely alien to them.  They're incapable of leaving alone any idiotic question that comes through on "Ask Aaron."  They just can't resist having a go at someone, thinking that they've embarassed the user by poking fun at the question he anonymously submitted.

It doesn't help that they like to poke fun at people with serious questions; maybe they don't realize that tone of voice isn't transmitted in written form.

If it weren't for my good-citizen nature and the fact that he can track IP's, I'd be gettign my kicks seeing how they react to Robot Wars UK questions.

And that whole business of not accepting UK Robot Wars questions?  Don't they realize that giving any kind of response to said questions is a sign of weakness?

Pray that you never need a favor from the Oregon Dept. of Transportation - if Mark is a typical employee.  In fact, I'm really starting to doubt Mark's version of the Ram Force story at Robotica 1, given how apt he is to cry "oppression!"

This was what pushed me over the edge.  You'll notice that it is a UK Robot Wars question, which makes them look like real pushovers:
Q: Can a robot beat [Retired European Hydraulic Piercer Robot] by making itself tall enough to make [Retired European Hydraulic Piercer Robot] cannot bite it?

A: Being taller than the jaw opening of the well-known 'Retired European   Hydraulic Piercer Robot' would make it very difficult for the piercer   to get a bite. 'Terrifying Overhead Axe Robot' did show up at an   internationally  televised event with extra-tall polycarbonate side   armor to take advantage of this approach, but did not draw 'Retired   European Hydraulic Piercer Robot' in the tournament. 'Retired European   Hydraulic Piercer Robot' was surprisingly lucky(?) in avoiding   competitors who had the best chance of beating it.
I couldn't help but blurt out "Just say Razer you stupid f***."

Oh, and this was cute too (BTW when I say "cute" I mean "why bother?"):

Q: When your team fought in the US & UK tag team championship it   looked like Run Away ran into the arena wall then shut down. What do you   think happened to it?     A: You're talking about the Tag Team event in the Nickelodeon Robot   Wars? I know exactly what happened to our robot -- but we no longer   answer questions about UK Robot Wars.

X-Terminator 2.  It's the Extreme 1 version.  I did an all-sides because I spent hours perfecting the artwork.  THis was the best pic of this version I could find.

Here's Onslaught.  It's ironic that one of the smallest heavyweights   ended up kind of biggish here.  The next replica I do will be my   twentieth; how do I make it special?  I'm not good with milestones and   sentiments.
