Expel from the house? What are you even talking about?
O.K. man, we'll see if you enter into Starcore 4. The level is WAY harder than S3, just to make you know... because S3 has... something like 3 years, and the techniques have improved a lot... 24983

I'm thinking about making a rectangular asymetric dustpan (built with skirts) at the side where your Clepblade is spinning, so then the Clepblade will deflect bots towards it, block them in there and still rip on them. And you could add a wheel for the anti-drifting. But suit yourself.
Huh. Could do better : a true Venkoism is that: This arm is VERY VERY VERY good, unique by me and with it i beat all DSL MWs !!!!!! It is self-righting mechanism never seen before. So if you copy this bot, you are LOSER cause it means your bots are lame, and if you fight with my bot they die in 1 touch... It is brilliant idea but this bot is worse to my VERY VERY VERY secret bots !!!! and very good too! But i will not show to you! Cause they are so good you will copy me... so... And read CAREFULLY my post before answer !! 24984
DSL TC Showcases / Cookers DSL machines« on: May 26, 2008, 06:11:36 AM »Quote from: Cooker;8590 Meanwhile I have another soup on the fire HAHA! This is pure French! Yep, I know, it's not easy to use English expressions when you're not a native English speaker... same for me, but this one was really obvious. (he actually means that he is making another robot design) I like your undercutter design. But if i were you, ill make him invertible, cause that srimech must weigh something like 50 kg, perhaps a lottle more, and if you count the battery to make him function, that makes 65. So, I'll just put the NPC64's a little higher, use bigger wheels (something lof the size of the Vlad wheels would be enough), and finally use metal skirts, perhaps attached diagonally (each to a black and red multi extender), to make a frontal V shape, and try to trap the other bots, without mentioning that this would give you a little more side defense. An certainly it will be lighter. And normally, if you make a good undercutter, invertibily is not a big problem cause you strike popups too with your weapon. Oh, and yeah, an undercutter is not supposed to be under the other bot, if then you make very few damage. It is supposed to be perhaps a little less than 1cm above the ground. I have to admit it's tough, but pretty rewarding. 24985

Haha, third French on the forum!
Don't mix stock parts with DSL parts, because the first ones are underpowered. 24986

OK. Nice bots, really well made and compact.
The two HS (if you consider MM a HS, have a problem: once the enemy is on the wedge, the weapon knocks them on a side, and then it is more difficult to put the enemy bot on the wedge again, cause he's not facing you anymore. I would have put something like another metal, or poly, skirt on the side the HS knocks the other bot off, to keep the bot near/on top of the HS and make continous damage. And of course I'm a VS fan... so the choice is made. Ill vote for the VS, although it's not an easy choice. 24987

You're optimistic, Cooker. He'll not do it anyway, and besides he'll certainly leave the forum after the ...ing advertising, by himself or banned.

It is the small dark hexagonal piece of steel, i think it is on extras. It doesnt makes a lot of damage but, it could make an undercutter,... with a disc big enough (ill suggest the 100cm) and some spikes on it, and placed very close to the ground, you could get under most frontal weapons and touch the chassis/wheels.

Huh. Your weapons are too fragile. And look at that long steel extender... he is easily breakable.
I'll use a shorter extender, allowing for some more protection, make all the design more compact and make him an undercutter (putting a tortoise sheel plate instead of that typhoon spike) However, i LOVE the visual. 24990

Dont use DSL if you are very new. it is seriously more complicated than the original game. Stick to stock RA2. To learn at least the basics.
Without mentioning that you will get destroyed by the DSL AI if you just learn to build, becuse they are built WAY better than the classic AI bots. DSL isnt a good choice for a beginner. When you select a motor on the Components screen, you will notice there are some kind of brown and white small cylinders (some kind of a cord texture) extending from some points the motor. You click on them and they become more white; They are more visible in stock RA2 (green rectangles). These are attachment points: to keep simple, these are the points where you attach the motor with the baseplate/other component. Take a motor. Each attachment point lets you place the motor in a different way: just try to click all of them, and the way you can place the motor will change. 24992

Me? Dangerous? Oh, much thanks.
So I suppose you have a rammer, a hammer or a popup in your duo... I won't have two vertical spinners, but one, perhaps. Well, we'll see... you perhaps tempted CUDA there, i mean, in the fighting scheme... (who against who) 24994
DSL TC Showcases / Pleiades' Showcase« on: May 23, 2008, 07:57:18 PM »
Exactly. But the popups we do include weapons, for damaging purposes. Firestorm does not makes damage (and i think his flipper arm is slower than the RA2 average popup)

Stormwind projects robots upwards unless its going forwards. Storemwind will stay as my main robot though. This is called a popup. There's plenty here, and its a pretty succesful design. 24998

He is actually; I showed the second version last, and the third first. So the first is invertible, and better as you can guess.
