Clawed Hopper from Series 5.  It's got like a ton af pieces, lord know how I found the motivation to make them all.  I'm still not sure how the walking mechanism works, but I replicated it pretty good.  Remarkably, I had just enough Apple Tart to finish this replica. The eyes are glass beads It can self-right perfectly when you lay it upside-down, but not if you flip it sideways.

If I ever have a kid, he's gonna be wearing Slayer shirts and I'll tell him about the birds and the bees whenever he can talk.

Man + Another man =/= Children

Surrogate wife, duh.  You could do what they do in the sitcoms and mix with a turkey baster so you never know who the biological father is.

Why can't they just announce Pokemon Grey already?  We know they're going to do it eventually, but Gamerfreak insists on being all coy about it.  I never managed to hold out for the 3rd installment in the past, but I've been real good this time. Where is my gratification?

The skin is a BMP file in the "custom textures," folder; that's where custom textures go when you export a template.  You don't need to touch the txt file

Who want's to see crappy X-Terminator Replica for Stock? :P

Go for it, Stock was all I had when I was starting out, but I found you could still make some dece replicas if you worked hard on the paint job

Another couple robots I am not fond of... Atomic and Wheely Big Cheese... both used Nitrogen in their flippers and I believe that is beyond stupid (Especially with Atomic's setup with a Fire Extinguisher can)

That's news to me, how can you tell it's Nitrogen?

maybe the team didnt like channel 5??

or they had got to atached to razer and wanted to keep it shiny for display?

maybe they had decided that they were going to step down and let new robots fight?

maybe razer was getting outdated?

maybe razer had been kidnapped by a small army of ninja pirates and so could not enter?

pick your favourite.

This is an excerpt from Ian Lewis.  If anyone can figure out what the bloody heck he's trying to say, please enlighten me:
Before S7 I did a lot of research, a lot of my time was taken on the phone to Steve Carsey, to-ing and fro-ing.
As   a high profile team I felt it finally layed upon us to put it 'all' on   the line, FOR A BETTER FUTURE FOR 'EVERYONE' INVOLVED.
I could see,   as well as Steve, that if 'Things' did not reach a critical mass 'again'   then we were all in for the arrival of the end of our beloved RW.
Mentorn played a very cool business line, we nearly pulled it off.
Back ground conversations go on, not even the greatest gossips know the whole story or ever will. I don't discuss everything.
A   few of us stood very strong, and painfully bit our lip as the show went   ahead. We heard the BS gossip that was flying around, and the people   fuelling it..........judge their caracter if you will.
Simon and I have had to 'Step up to the Mark' on many occasions, and we've stood strong, here and in the U.S.
We are proud of our achievements and respect whole heartedly the achievements of others.

The   picture and story is a very complex one, never try to genralise, it   misrepresents and doesn't do the parties involved, the justice they   deserve.

Here's to happier days where we all have a dam good battle, " like nothing better ".

Dang this thread got buried.  Here's a replica of The Bat I'm really proud of, it took me 2 solid days and a whole lot of  magic but I'm really happy with the end result:

There are leaves everywhere!  Also the couch cushions I was giving away on Craigsliist got damp!  And the place I wanted to get Chinese food at was closed for the day! But my family survived, and that's what matters

Where's my "I survived the Storm of oh'11" T-shirt?

General Support / Order of components
« on: August 27, 2011, 09:50:55 PM »
You're probably getting tired of threads started by me, but...

What determines the order that components appear in those menus in the botlab?

I ask because I've somehow created this component with a blank preview, and it crashes my game when I click on it.  But I have no idea what it is, I can't find its corresponding txt file.  I was hoping I could glean some info about it based on where it appears in the menu (incidentally it's right after the Aluminum extender)

These are the two that are giving me the most trouble:

Arnold Arnold Terminegger has two blades on snappers specifically for self-righting from the side.  But it won't fire them when flipped onto either side:

Tsunami won't fire its flipper when it's tipped onto its back like this:

Well, the Razer has had its share of reliability issues.  Nevertheless, the critics couldn't stop praising its design, and It's done well on an international scale.  The Razer really found its stride in the 5th and 6th generation.  But though it now seems unbeatable, it never could one-up a certain PC.

Here's my favourite version of Major Tom, the Series 5 head on the   Series 4 body.  It's very smool - not too far off the scale of the   official pullback toys.  Before now I never appreciated how the British   flag is a bitch to paint:

I want to do one that isn't mostly silver

I can't help but feel like they're overblowing the whole thing like they did with the recent earthquake in Virginia.

you're talking about a show that has no problem with homemade flamethrowers in an open arena.

I've though about it, although the minimum price might be a little too high; I was hoping for $200 for the easily-replacable ones, and a lot higher on the ones with sentimental value.  You think anyone would buy the rest of my Velocirippa Blue or 3 Stegs Orange?  I didn't write down the recipes, so I have no way of replicating the exact colour.
