Well that rules out building a robot. :P
Can't build if you don't have the tools.
As for building materials... I've seen UHMW plastic used with great results. Just ask Zipdragon about that. He took 1st, and 2nd in the ants at FI with UHMW Robots. I've also used it on my bot without a problem. As for aluminum, the stuff at Home Depot or Lowes won't cut it you need 6160 or 7075 grade. Steel you need to use a 4110 - 4140 grade any other steel except s7 (tool steel aka the really hard stuff) isn't strong enough to justify it's weight.
P.S. Why are you still registered with a middleweight for the battlebots pro class championship if you aren't going to build a bot and aren't even allowed to use a saw?

Anyone involved in FIRST Robotics? I'm in FRC with a team that was at the Nationals last year.
FIRST is a "task oriented" robotics competition. ie your robot has to do something like play soccer, climb stuff or lift and move stuff. This years challenge is called LogoMotion. The challenge is the robot has to carry innertubes across the arena and hang them at various heights ranging from ~3-10 feet off the ground.
If anyone gets the chance join a FIRST team. It's not battlebots but it is a lot of fun.

Nary must be pretty mad to go past the normal FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. :P Shame we can't fight Explosion and Shich Kabot IRL, suppose this will have to do...
Shish consistently loses to flippers so I'd think Explosion would win.

Cool VS it almost has a stock feel to it with the way you attached the razors.
I check every showcase. I just don't bother to post a :D or say "cool bot" every time I view a showcase.

This site makes my eyes hurt- http://www.teamdeadcell.proboards.com/
I'm also not sure why an mspaint bot from the site is registered for an actual competition...
Sparkey we've been through this before. The buildersdb is not meant for you to enter fake bots and create fake teams and pretend. Team Deadcell is your 5th (?) team you've created. You registered for a compitition with a vapor bot. Why? To say you entered? To troll the Battlebots staff and competitors? To impress friends? Dude use some common sense and think. And I'll ask you again, Why?

After you download the .RAR file extract it to the desktop and try running RA2 from there. Then let us know if it worked or not.

Can an american explain the term 'varsity', please?
Varsity is the top tier of High School sports. It goes from best to worst; Varsity-->Junior Varsity-->JVC. US FIRST robotics in the winter
When did you enter? Ours was in 2009 (w00t top seeded rookie).
This is my first year on a FIRST team. My school has been involved in FIRST for the past 10 years.

I used to play Ice Hockey but I gave it up due to time constraints and lack of skill. I currently play Soccer in the fall, US FIRST robotics in the winter (my school is so awesome they say it's a sport) and lacrosse in spring.

are they different in NAR AI? because that's what I built it in :S
Uhh... It shouldn't be a problem unless you used cheatbot2 parts or didn't click overwrite when you coppied the NAR AI files into DSL and it created two files. (In your case hypnowheel and hypnowheel(2).) You can check to see if it's this by searching in the components folder or by seeing if you have duplicates of components.

I agreed that Tactical Nuke needed more reach sooo... (Image removed from quote.) A lot more focus on the hammers this time.
Actually ran out of weight :P
It kinda looks like the unfinished origional version of Squish that didn't work due to lag. :P

@BP The RFL can't ban a robot from an event based on where it's from. They can only ban a robot if the robot doesn't meet safety requirements.
Anyway... I call dibs on Sonic.

I think you should show us what you built before deleting it. Also you might want the picture as a reference if you wanted to rebuild it and try to see if it doesn't glitch.

Try a dual perm for the weapon motor. It might take some tweaking to find the right setup but it's doable.

Squish (my UHW hammerbot) can OOTA antweights in the combat arena when it hits them just right they either get stuck in the floor or fall completely through it.

So rather than 'half-assed' it's more 'halfway' between stock/starcore?
Does that mean its Stockore?
