Flying Guillotine - Too high. Will get toppled easily.
Lol finally someone who get the bot.  Toppled over and OOTA will be the 2 primary ways it will lose.

If driven by player it's not so bad since it has front back symmetry, as such you won't make unnecessary 360 turns.  As for how the AI will function I have to say I don't know, since I can't AI it myself I passed on to JoeBlo to help AI it for me.  Rather or not it toppled over within the first 10 seconds would determine rather or not it's any good.

123STW, how do you make those so even?
I just eyeballed this one.

Let's not be too off topic, it is The Ounce's showcase after all.

I guess if you (not specifically YOU, but in general)wanted to be really picky and technical then the overall HP would have to be compared between the two theories.  That would be hard to figure out.
The Ounce is using titanium 5 atm, which has 60 HP/kg,the best ratio in the game.  If he makes another chassis that has the same kg but with, say plastic 10 or steel 5, then he will end up with less HP.

Your fear of chassis space has resulted in a bot with wasted weight.

Use a circluar one and it'll be more effective.

... because the total circumference of used metal is bigger if you stretch out the current chassis versus a circular.  Because the weight is based on the material, not the volume of possible content.

System you are pretty smart... you really should change your AV back to that Futurama character... he looked a lot smarter that that dude staring at the camera that looks doped out. :P
I don't know, what's wrong with his current chassis anyway?  It's not like the complexity created extra "hit box".  Since HP is determined by chassis weight, if he want to trade HP for weight he can do so simply by lowering his chassis armor to titanium 3 or plastic 5.

Though I personally would use a 6 point star chassis.

So you mount the wheels on by detaching the motor axles?

Some comments

Click - would be better without the axle wedge.  Axle wedge just isn't strong enough to get under metal hinge/small wedge in most cases, so it does not help in preventing OOTA.

Doomkiller - my guess is the wedge would be better if it's slightly longer.  Since it's a popup we will have to see how well the wedge performs.

The Ounce - Solid, should finish off bot relatively fast when get under.

Robo - I can't guess how well the wedge will perform.

Scrap Daddy - A solid bot in close arena, but might get OOTA in this one.

Urjak - I don't doubt it's ability to toss, so it comes down to how well the wedge performs.  I think it will have problem getting under small wedge/metal hinge.

As for mine, well lighten up.  Not everybody has to enter a bot intending to win.  And besides my very serious VS still lost on round one during the last tournament anyway.  With some luck this bot might just outperform my previous one.

I just tried with the flamethrower version.  Unfortunately I couldn't take the screenshot because the game crashed 1 minutes in.

low lag arena would fit them ?

any big arena could make them fit by simply moving start positions
Where can I get it?

Edit:  NM I found it

I had a simple idea: just a cylindrical arena like the Drum of Death, but much simpler: with no hazards and a flat ground. Would probably make for less pinning in a corner and immobilizations.

Oh and i will do it myself - i must just get how these over 9000 lines GMF arena files work. Won't be soon anyways...

Maybe make the ground and walls deal more damage as well... i think i can add the material=metal command to the different parts of the arena, now if it is in the .py or .gmf, this is another thing...
So has anyone made this map?  The only map that fits UHW well atm are drum of death.  Would be great to have a simpler version of it.

Lol maybe you can include UHW for v2.1.  Then again I don't think much people will have 6 UHW.

If you have adblock plus and you really can't stand white dots moving across the screen while reading, you can block the snow by adding this to your blocklist

It's probably easier to have a few relative new players participate and mixed into one larger AI pack, that way every beginner can participate with just 3 bots rather than 15.

Consider replacing your weapon extender with weapon hex.

why do you stalk me? FYI I build ants and beetles in real life, something I doubt you do
Well, if you build something that can kill a good number of bots in NAR v2, then you won't have to prove yourself verbally.

As for bot, I suggest dropping the skirt extender and use some regular ones.

At first I was thinking UW to be "unlimited weight", which is to to build the bot as big as possible.  But I guess 5000kg is more than enough since I couldn't even "build to the weight limit".

Since I don't even use crap parts, there are no reason for me to dislike them, so my dislike list would consist of good parts that I found to be a pain to use.

Weapons: Prefer Razor Tips & DS Light / Dislike Hammers
Extenders: Prefer Weapon Hex / Dislike Flipper Segments
Armor: Prefer Half Sheet & Side Panel / Dislike Titanium Sheet
Weapon motors: Prefer Duel Perm / Dislike E-Tek
Drive motor : Prefer E-Tek / Dislike NPC Fast
Wheels: Prefer Technos / Dislike Big Wheel Cheese
Chassis armor : Prefer 5mm Plastic

problem is his upper wedge cuts into the bottom drum, so he had to use skirt hinge.

Drums don't need wedge anyway.  But yes hinges being too close to motors seem to AGOD wedge a lot.  I mean there are axle wedge if you don't mind your wedge being below average.
