Two lightweight BOTM's in a row ? Eh.

I will probably not enter unless I have an awesome idea.

stop whining.
Stop moderating.

good posting 10/10

Sure okay, a tourney like this is fine once every few months, but having them back to back and then becoming a fad defeats the purpose of it being funny entirely.

That is true. However, we have just had -two- tournaments like this. It is not a fad yet considering only ONE person jumped on the "fad".

If more of these happen in a row however, then I would agree with you and andrew.

After all, if someone posts an image in there and someone else wants it to become a GTM meme, it isn't a meme unless other people start to use it, no ?

I'm just happy this showcase has more posts and it's not a generic flipper or VS.

About the bot I feel you could make it stabler by making a wide, very angled chassis instead of using components, and i'm quite sure the larger chassis will not weigh 24 kgs more.

Maybe you can fit a mag on that after that.

boring, not a perm 80.
Silence, kid. I haven't played RA2 for many many months so you can't expect a miracle from me. Challenge accepted though.

You are both younger and considerably less competent in building than Martymidget. Stop trying to look tough.

Hopefully this isn't the new trend for tournaments.
Seconded

Considering how low tournament activity is and how much tournaments are getting bailed out these days, I think this new "retard rumble" idea is a good and hilarious idea for giving life into tournaments again.

It is certainly vastly more entertaining that the endless IRL tournaments we are having "oh hey look two flippers are battling, how exciting" or "oh hey look a pusher versus a HS, GEE I REALLY WONDER WHO WILL WIN", and even more fun than most DSL-S tournaments either.

tl;dr stop whining. This is like n00b warz but even more so and as you remember every n00b warz was overwhelmingly seen as positive.

Even if it becomes a fad who cares ? It'll give a good laughs.

I for one am waiting for one of these tournaments to be done by Massimov himself. I think his video editing will be the best.

Is changing the weight limit to 420kg a good idea or do you think it would be better staying at 800kg?

Keep it to 800. Retard rumble = better is heavier.

I hope you will not delete this one the next time you are fed up with RA2... Showcases are not made to be deleted !

About the bot it looks ok. It's going to have the issue with wedge hammers that the other bot will stop the full swing of your hammer, but I assume you already figured that.

Wire = make the burst motor controllable by giving it a button control

I think he HAS got this, honestly.

aka wire burst motor

Whaa? o.O (I'm a derp)

No, he means how to eFFe.

It's easy. Wire your either burst motor or spin motor,
then put the motor as your burst/spin motor,
then place motor under attachment point (do NOT fire !)
then put motor on the extender point, fire, let the motor spin, then attach when it is fixed).

There, problem solved. Really.

I don't get tortoise. Are the large pointy tips just for cool looks or it is actually a complex hammer ?
It's actually the self righting mechanism. The clamping claw can self right it but not as quick as I hoped.
Eh, pointy tips on a srimech ? Why ?

You can easily use something easier, such as a simple burst + extender setup, and it will work.

Eeh, I guess. To be honest I think my showcase has fallen flat... I have run out of original ideas.
(Funnily enough I removed the spikes)

Nah. You are too new to fall flat yet.

I see how Pizza Cutter is a crusher and maybe an hybrid, but how it is a flipper ? Nothing's gonna get inside or under that.

sure i'm ready to criticize you if it is needed

I would say prepare your butt but I'm not that harsh tbh. i just give good advice

Beta burst is not exactly OP. It's good to be sure but it needs a hilariously high amounts of amps to work welll and it also is rather big and heavy, therefore needing that your bot needs to have a rather tall chassis, which is more or less negative for flippers since flippers need to be less tall to protect themselves from other bots, most notably horizontal spinners and SnS.

udge burst howerver.... op.avi kill it already
