Settle down Badnik, no need to rant. Just shooting off an idea. Never said anything actually had to be done about it. Though I agree 6 months might also be a bit too much since there are definite exceptions.

But just look at the tournaments that have been started and most likely won't finish. LRA2 is getting caught up in a thread that has nothing to do with his tournament, TX obviously used his computer breaking as a cop-out that he can't take the pressure of running a tournament, and Mouldy king bash has started at least 3(even though GK came and saved the day).
New members that announce tournaments really should be given 4 random bots that they need to AI, film, and post successfully as a test.  If they fail at that stage, it should save us all a bunch of time.
And there's an idea I like. Honestly, if someone isn't positive they can finish what they started, then don't. I know for a fact I will never start one until I get a better computer because I hardly run regular matches without lag, never mind with fraps running. I'd be burnt out in a week.

Make it so a member has to have been a member for more than a year to start a topic in Tournament Discussion? The amount of tournaments started by noobs lately is getting really annoying. Especially the fact that half of them aren't even prepared to do it and don't finish. 1 year might be too much but perhaps 6 months?

Besides, I liked it better on the old forum where there were a few awesome tournaments instead of the multitude that are started nowadays. Tournaments kinda lose their coolness when there are new ones popping up everyday...

Just an idea.

#6 for sure. Love the use of the Trovaner chassis glitch and the gold/black theme is awesome. Looks effective as well.
We know it's yours :P

DP, but im on a roll today after 2 straight snowdays. Second team i'll be working on and the second heavy from it.

You should recognize this. I ended up trading heavy beater bars for mediums and upgraded the two mag snappers to a Beta burst and some door hinge wedges. Great trade off imo since it actual can annoy the heck out of another bot with the flipper now.

POST AND IGNORE THE SPELLING MISTAKE IN THE TEAM :P

God damn it, sparkey pisses me off. Especially the fact that he thinks he's all knowing because he's read a few archives on the old forum.
OKAY

SnS- Multitudes in NAR AI. Grey Cloud, Cataclysm, etc. A bot that literally, SITS AND SPINS. This includes HS/SnS hybrids like Hurricane and SnSnSnSnS. Thwacks are also considered this imo, but again, can have their own class.
MSnS- Feeblemind, The Bot You Like To Hate, etc. Still considered a SnS with a special py imo but it can have its own class. A bot that uses the new py where it uses melty brain style movement. BLADE RUNNER WAS A MSnS by our qualification.
Sheck Spinners- Grog the Vengeful, Steel Meatball, etc. A bot where a shell surrounding the bot spins on a motor.
FBS- Thundercloud and Sidewynder. A bot where the CHASSIS spins but the drive stays stationary.

Stop listening to Sparkey. Almost everything he has said is wrong.

You have the drive perfect, stack at least another battery(2 or 3 should be fine), a wedge on a baseplate is absolutely useless. You need toput it on a snapper or DDT

That is also WAY too much weight for a snapper. Either upgrade to DDTs or get more snappers with less weapons. Generally, the amount of razors you should put on a snapper is maybe 2-4 and 5-8 on a DDT.

and if there's no space for a snapper, looks like you need to rebuild it.

In response to the retarded post below, I said ALMOST everything was wrong. You were right about chained drive but wedges on an anchor is just fail. And my ass you've seen anchor and wedge done effectively.

Go ahead and listen to Sparkey if you want. Just want you to know he is probably the least respected person on this forum and notorious for giving awful advice.

Well im working on two new teams after spending an entire alg class thinking of ideas.
and after the amount ive been playing this game, there was no doubt i was not making a team based on it.

Tactical Knife:

Plastic 3. If anyone has any ideas on how to put the weapons on better, im all ears.
and
The Veteran:

Plastic 5, bottom and top bars. Got some weight but faaast.

These are the moar generic bots of the team(other 3 are hammers) but some comments would be appreciated.
