Eh? GBBS is a POKER? Then it is way better.
I actually saw something like an iron in this bunch of hammers and i said to myself "must be attached to a piston"
But I never thought that ALL the weapon was a spear head.
Archimandrite = NINJA.
_________
I think that in this arena, the best bot has to be low, stable, wedgy (and a really good wedge) and fast. And if it's a spinner, he must have small weapons to avoid mauler dancing.
Like Lu-Tze, Psi or InfCon, and possibly the HumDrums. MCB had the potential to be one but it's way too slow and has literally no real wedge.
But Lu-Tze is too fast IMO (so unstable) and has mediocre wedges according to Sorrow, InfCon has weapons that won't last very long and a wedge that could be better, and i'm not sure about Inf's wedge.
EDIT: And I know what's wrong with obZen. There is a gap between the long ramplates and the lower skirt wedges and Deprivator got in.
EDIT 2: Aaah Robo said it before. Nevermind.

I personally prefer music over a commentary, but the commentary would be kind of cool.... Both? No we're gonna drive Sage insane with all our requirements.

What if the two EXACT same perfect bots went head to head with the EXACT same AI, in an arean with No walls or hazards? Just make a battle between two identical AI bots. You'll see.

There is no such thing as a perfect robot. Sage you must be speaking about the perfect HS. And the perfect HS may be a very efficient thing, it can't be the perfect robot.
But the perfect robot in their bot type can be made.

Sledgehammer/DSL hammer, I suppose. Click knew what he was doing when he built Hammerhead Shark. It's a great bot.
Or add several spikes.

Ah! Ah! I'm looking forward to see your fight, Giga. It has the potential to be awesome.
One of my first DSL HWs was a chained HS, a 4 mag gearbox, then a 2 mag gearbox on it, a Whyachi tribar and 3 50Kg's on it.
It had a slow spinup time something like 7 seconds, and when spinning at full speed the tribar began to wobble and i couldn't spin it faster because if i did he Mauler danced, a hammer touching the ground, and finishing on it's back. Better was 5500 damage on a hit (but now i see that's few for a HW), but the good thing was 4WD Magmotor drive on hypno wheels. Also, crazy ant batt stacking because he was like a many sided pyramid.

I thought the same thing two weeks before.

and one with extenders that flips bots. I actually thought of that design for my bot, a modulable classic VS (disc) with non-damaging parts for the tabletop... But the problem is that there's NO way a classic VS can win a tabletop or a KotH. VS have generally low drive train and drive train (and a good wedge) is king on tabletops. Without mentionning their unstability.

Well, all that i think for our next fight Phlox is based on your first fight against Enfilad3... Enf3 had a better wedge than your RRG and I have a better wedge than Enfilad3.
I must say that i like the wedged VS design a lot and that your bot performed very well.
EDIT: I honestly think i will made it to the loser's bracket finals, and then lose to DOAM or Enfilad3 for the grand final.
EDIT 2: Fun how Click's predictions were accurate. All of his 5 picks for possible finalists are still in competition and we're only 6 now...

Another! I wanted since a long time to make a side hammer. I loved Ancient Leviathan. And here it is... Embodiment of Ruin! Build that in 1 hour, including 5 minutes at least finding the right chassis. This is supposed to be my Atom Smasher rebuild too for Summer Magic... Inf, is this okay? _________ EDIT: I tested it, and I NEVER thought it could own Little Darling in 10 seconds.

Tight space on the first one? There is about 40% of empty space!
Second looks sweet, and the titanium is good, i agree with Sage on the fact that 10mm titanium is way too much and you should add more weapons, i thought that was a beetleweight.
This battery depletes very fast, that said. You shoudl perhaps use grippier wheels like Vladiator's.
You can still remove empty space by using these black and red baseplate extenders rather than anchors.
3mm Titanium should be enough.
personally i never used 1mm plastic excepted on perhaps one ant. the minimum for me is 1mm titanium. good armor.

Electric Red (too lazy to write in 1337) looks pretty sweet. What burst does it have?
The Haymaker replica doesn't needs that heavy armor and the wheels are too far from each other, or the weapon arms aren't long enough, because rammers are going to get to your wheels easily. Even if it is way faster than Haymaker, the problem is that he'll get OOTA fast with a good hit because of that kinetic energy.
I sure doesn't want to fight obZen. HazCon may have a better wedge than Enfilad3, but I bet obZen is going to own InfCon if they fight.

hmm... it's certainly an issue with DSL are they are technically custom components.
did you get the 1.2 patch?
or else, i think there's an option to allow custom components in multi. i think you need to edit a text file and the answer is on the forum. search it.

And that maxes a n-degree equation, I suppose? n being superior to 3, and the calculus becomes completely messed up?
As far as I can know, winning/losing depends of two things: AIing and building skill.
Look, I could have won vs Enfilad3 but the AI made Hazcon drive like a b**ch in the first and third round. And I think we were equally matched in terms of building skill.
I think there is a random element in RA2's AI code: you can't predict the bot's path and how it will react to the opponent, and that's why you can't really know who will win unless a big difference in bot building skill.
Even the second and third rounds of Psycho Sweeper VS Rage III were different.

Aaaaaah ok. That makes sense.
You're gonna use the same bot for two of the competitions? Giga did tell he will higly prohibit it...
(Although I do agree with you, because I can't figure how to change my KotH bot to deathmatch one)
