Getting into some new thrash bands. Wasn't a fan of this heavier stuff, but I've gotten used to it now and it's pretty great. I still hate death metal though.
(not saying this is heaviest, just saying I'm straying away from Metallica/Megadeath for the first time in my life :P )

Smaller chassis = Less weight & lower disc. When you do that, you also shouldn't use MEs outside the chassis.

Try to make the chassis lower, make the chassis smaller, post weight & armour.
If DSL3, keep the drive motors the same and use 2 or 3 long batteries instead of ants.
If DSL2, use TWM3R Drives instead of TWM3R2s.

Judges are okay, they are allowed in most IRL competitions, but you may want to make the bot slightly larger to fit the wheels and NPCs in the chassis. That would make it look better.
