You know, drive motors are not entirely bad for FS, they tend to grind for damage rather than single strike. Or at least NPC Fast turn out alright for Shebeast.

The "extra chassis height" seems to allow all component can be attached. The lowest click-able chassis height, or 0.338182, prevents a few components to be attachable. As for lowering it through hacking the save file, the lower it is, the less components you can attach. Though in most tournaments any form of game file hacking would be banned.
As far as armoring your tribar, tribar has the worst HP ratio in the game. Rather than armoring it, An alternative would be one dsldisk or 2 dsl bar forming a cross, though both of them would have 4 connection points.

Avoid chain motors when you are dealing with 1000+kg worth of weapons. Even if it doesn't glitch in lab it will havok in match.

I guess the pole can be replaced by an iron spike.

Firestorm flipper, if you can figure out how to fit that in.
Otherwise, there's always light plow and angled side panel.
The benefit of solid armor is that they don't sink in upon impact.

Anything that doesn't move, off the top of my head there are, anchor, multi extender, half sheet, and omni extender.

Lol funny how Crosswind x4 is also from the ounce. I guess 252 kg worth of weapons isn't enough in the HW division anymore.

Solid armor tends to be better than skirt hinge ones. But if you want to stick with skirt hinge, just put 3x 40 polycarbonate skirt on it (you can use stronger ones if you want).

Switch to astroflight, and you will notice an increase in drive speed. Drive motor has high torque and low max speed, weapon motor has low torque and high max speed. As such it makes them task specific. You can usually tell which is for weapon/drive in it's description. But if you cannot I have also made a list of them here. https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,2402.0.html

You can reduce your file size (hence upload time), by doing the following 2 things.
1. You crop the image 2. You convert image to JPG or PNG. If you have slow internet I suggest JPG.
It also makes it easier for other people to view your image, which can increase the amount of "bot related" replies you have.
As for bot, you will probably have more success by using a stronger weapon motor. I would suggest at least a perm 132 for this.

Care to share the format you use? I am just curious what else my Rotation-Powered Pulsar lose to other than Telescopic Sight (which it lose to consistently due to some mysterious forces preventing it from spinning normally in this match-up), and possibly the "huge rack of razors + Beater Bar".
So far every bots that's giving me problems come from The Ounce.

I think you can use multi-extender in this case, you just use the side connection so you can rotate it.
That aside, I don't think the point of multi-extender is the 1kg, but the reduce in space used, allowing for smaller chassis.

Nice. Just run through some test and my team seem to function pretty well.
I forgot to tell you that I didn't hook up French Fries' Burst Motors to self right, as such it still doesn't.
I think I will go back to playing and see what new bots are available.

Consider switching to small DSL Disk (the silver one) if you intend to put 4 irons on each disk.

For side stabilizer you can try mounting a half sheet on the bottom along with 2 40cm polycarbonate skirts on each end.

There's always another SnS. And probably Naryar's beater/razor pusher design (ReFraction).

If that's NPC Fast, just connect it to your chassis.
