Hey, carrying around 400 pounds of candy-coated lard is not fun. Besides, I kinda like it. The aches I feel at the end of the day feel great, I enjoy the frigid weather, and it gives me an excuse to not want a driver's license.

I like my weight loss plan. I call it "The Hydrovian Revolution". It's filled with masochism, willpower and trance music. It involves eating less than a skinny person (with a normal metabolism), walking approximately 4 kilometers a day, and not caring about tiredness, hunger, and pain. And lots and lots of trance music.

Same. I think I actually became a stoic unintentionally. I just don't let stuff get to me as much. Had to force myself to cry at my mother's funeral, etc.

I just use masochism as a way to deal with the physical pain of being morbidly obese. But I do enjoy the occasional sting of an open wound. Usually I just don't cut deep enough to cause pain, or bleeding for that matter.
