The only way you can have them move is how that one bot was built where the axle was mounted facing up, and the bot rotated with it. (Speaking of which, that bot was one of my favorites. I wish I could remember the name).
Volatile Partisan? I think bots requiring pause to load are okay to build, you just can't enter them in tournaments as pause will mess with the opponent. You can do a lot of fun things with pause-loading that you can't otherwise, like vertical flails.

Flat-fronted "popups" can actually work with more armor. See eFFe's Teh Generic! https://wiki.gametechmods.com/index.php?title=Teh_Generic!Granted, it does have a slight incline, but it still works more by getting bots in front of it, not on top of it like a normal popup.

Cool, I won a match. I was worried Infernadicity might toast Thunderclap to the point where it couldn't move and be immobilized. Lucky it rode up the wedge so most of the flames went over. I predict Dr. Bee will win this if it has those cheatbot Matilda teeth, which it probably does judging by how much damage it was doing. Those things are OP. If they're just regular Matilda teeth though, I think I've got a good chance at the final. Also, PREDICTIONS !!!
5 out of 9 right, not bad. It's funny, it seems to me you got some obvious ones wrong (like picking Son of Hurricane over Dr. Bee) but then called some really surprising fights (like Botening winning).

Why is Drumblebee's weapon always on? Did you use the AI I gave you? It should look like this: list.append(("Drumblebee 9","EcoOmni",{'range':99,'radius':1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2,'UseSpinZone':1,'StartSpinup':0,'weapons':(15,16,17,18,20,22,23,24,26,28,29,30,33,34,35,36,39,40,41,42,45,46,47,48,51,52,53,54,57,58,59,60)}))
It bounces slightly when it spins, which ruins the wedge, so it's only supposed to spin when a bot is in the smart zone. Come to think of it, Swamp Demon could use this AI too, though that would have been Badnik's responsibility to AI it that way. Betwixt and Fire Phoenix (aside from that one inexplicable fail) are doing surprisingly well. Maybe I should've entered Frag Beetle.

Only one HS? That's got to be a stock HW tournament first. I was expecting way more of them, especially with a rumble format included. i expected more hses in this. kos will probably win if his bot can handle those popups
Whoever can handle those popups will win. KOS, or the wedgiest wedge.

Whoa I like Force Feedback. You should try it in combat, you might be surprised. Reminds me a bit of All Spinners Must Die.

Are you sure there's two blacks? That bot is basically Drumblebee 9 but with a different chassis and a higher drum, and Drumblebee 9 only has one battery. If it does have two batteries, I want to know where you got so much extra weight.
The wedges might be better if you wait and don't spin the weapon until you're under the opponent. This works for Drumblebee 9.

Moved to real robotics.
The STEM Tech Olympiad was promoted by Battlebots, and it got a couple of veteran heavyweights to come out of retirement (Shrederator/Brian Nave and Polar Vortex/Fuzzy Mauldin). Mouser Mecha Catbot was also apparently going to compete but had to pull out due to medical issues (with the driver, not the bot).
Kind of a moot point to speculate though, because I don't think Battlebots will ever be back on TV like it used to. I know some builders don't even WANT it to, due to all the licensing restrictions broadcasting companies impose.

You could explain why flails are a bad idea. (They will glitch due to AGOD.)
I personally like wedged VS because they tend to be more stable and fling bots higher than non-wedged VS. However, discs with razors are the wrong weapon to use because as soon as one razor breaks, the bot will start bouncing and there goes your wedge. DSL bars with hammers may not do as much damage, but they're more reliable in the long run.

You're doing it wrong. The forks aren't supposed to flex backwards that far, or they will lift off the ground when you move forward and you'll never get under anything. You should use a 90 degree axle > hex plate > forks 120 degrees from the axle. The design also works better with smaller wheels. High ground clearance gives the forks room to flex up off the floor.
Bot looks great otherwise.
Edit: Unless you're using burst motors, which it looks like you might be. Then that's an entirely different design.

An extender framework (or beater bars, if you can get the weight) with rows of spikes would look better, and be better. Also the tail should be on an axle so it swings around.

Find these lines near the top
# to display the current angle of the servo motor uncomment thoses lines : self.debug = True AI.SuperAI.debugging = True
and either comment them out or change True to False. That should do it.

Very nice bots Click, How well does the Bettle bot flip?
Also what's the text say in Slam Bot's splash?
D. adamanteus has a Beta burst so it flips very well. Not like Second Sentinel or T-One but it gets the job done. Slambot's background is just a generic spambot post, you've seen it before. My last pay check was $8500 a week working 1o hours a week now. My younger brother friend has been making 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it. This is what I do...
I'm not so fond of the LW though. Honestly if you put 2WD NPC and some artfully placed 40cm angled skirt hinges as stabilizers it will look cooler and be faster.
Maybe name it after some tiger beetle as well. Even if it doesn't have huge jaws.
I would do this for a standard design. Might still attempt it. But part of the reason I build Slambot was just because I wanted an IRL 4WD LW.

It's cool how you made the BSGs blend with the chassis. It looks BFE'd at a glance. Any good in battle?

You'll need to get the DSL2.1 parts back, then. Easiest way to do that is probably reinstalling DSL2.1. Tommy's bots won't work then, but trying to use DSL3 bots in DSL2 is just a bad idea in general. Get a separate game for DSL3 beta.

Everybody just chill. Two people doing RA2 Let's Plays on Youtube does not mean GTM will be inundated with immature fanboys. But even if it does come to that, ranting about it isn't going to prevent it. Right now, it's just going to make people look at you uncomfortably and wonder if they dare post a reply in here.
I wonder what would happen if an RA2 veteran did a Let's Play, though. Someone to show the Youtube community how it's done.

Not bad. You can make a better chassis shape though. Combine your skin with that chassis and it would be about right. On a side note, when you do a Google image search for Plunderbird 5, WHY do a bunch of anime girls that look like they were drawn by Jonzu come up?

Gotta say that bot looks really cool. The red skin + hypno teeth combo is nice, as is the way you put the bloody drips edge over the saw teeth edge to make those little triangles. The reinforced disc design too.
Sure, you could save a couple kgs by using a multiextender and a blue control board, but you should only bother with that if you can actually do something with the extra weight. You would have... 3.9 kgs, it looks like. Is that enough to upgrade the armor?

More bots for BB9. I wanted to build a Karcas-type bot, and this was the result. Works as a flipper and a clamp. The wedge is kind of sucky (actually, really sucky), but it looks too cool to change. It wouldn't be the same with skirts. It has 3mm steel armor, so it's not going to get KO'd quickly. Unless it goes up against Thyrus' "Yeah Tiny Grinding Weapons Shaped Like Asterisks Totally Work IRL" thing. (I'm just trash-talking Thyrus; I think your bots are cool enough even if the weapons are not quite IRL.) Etymology: Dynastes adamanteus is a fake species name for a Hercules beetle. The specific epithet, adamanteus, is the Latin word for steel. Then there's this thing. Yup, a 4WD LW. Screw efficiency, 4WD is awesome. Slambot works kind of like Sewer Snake. It's good at carrying bots across the arena and slamming them into the walls, which causes the forks to flex and possibly flip the opponent. This is a really fun bot and I'm really hoping to get at least one boxlong slam in BB9. Also, it works exactly the same upside-down. It has 5mm plastic armor, and a BFE'd chassis for reduced height. I tried using Hypno wheels but went with the DSL wheels for two reasons. One, Hypnos are so small the bot can get wedged under the spike strip. And two, DSL wheels look better. Edit: Oh yeah, and Slambot is sponsored by real spam sites. Don't type in any of those URLs.

I'm thinking I should make a bot lab background that displays instructions for how to select attach points. Neither this guy or Nerd3 seemed to know how to do it.
