Welcome back. I wouldn't know who you are tho :P. Anyway, you have A LOT to catch up on. Nowadays, we don't really use servos even. We use the blue snapper lol.
As in the Snapper II thingy? When I first started playing that "didn't exist"... Ah the good ol days... Is that using the eFFe glitch or something? I never learned that! I was under the impression mounting a Ztek on a servo made it spin faster? Or was that my silly teenage mind being silly? Thanks for the welcome :) Is this still an active community?

Hi everyone. I doubt any of you will know me or even remember me (Gig, Somebody, Sage?) as I have contributed very little to this forum, even when I was active (way back in 2010). But a few weeks ago I stumbled across the steam game: Robot Arena 3 and I was like man... what a game RA2 was... The fun I had. And boom this weekend I decided to download it on my Surface and have some fun times mucking around on one of my old favourites... Here's what I came up with today: Spyke He's a spinner. I just remembered a few glitches as I went really. Not sure if he would be any good in today's game? Anyway, advice on the above is welcome, but it was a bit of a rush jobby. I didn't even bother with a custom skin! Whats new in the world of RA2, who's about still?

Right so thanks to somebody heres my DSL showcase lol My first ever DSL robot is named the exorcist, named for his giant cross shaped flipper thats great at expelling evil out of the arena. Lame? Yeah lame, thought so, but the name stays. Features: - 2x Razors, great for running people around the arena if it gets under them - An over powered flipper, great as its a middleweight - 2 wheel drive, faster than expected - Can self right Problems: - Concerned about the wedge, I'd appreciate some tips on some wedge building - Exposed tyres, sides and back - limited weaponry - Weak armour (1 mm Titanium) Heres some screenies: Outside the exorcist robot Inside the robot exorcist, with the flipper lifted up. All comments appreciated :)

I remember my old desktop got a similar virus called IE defender it had its own proffessional looking website with a fake forum and everything of people posting 'problems' and solutions etc.
But it did the same thing as yours and dumped viruses and told you they were there but did nothing about it!
Consequently, we bought norton and a full system scan killed it.

I tried building one about a year ago, and I failed. :P If I modified the servos and actuators to be 20 times stronger, I could probably make it work. But due to its low power, it can only do this:
Thats an awesome design, I bet your more than gutted it didnt work :P

whoa whoa whoa dont think for a second im insulting you or your hardwork starcore, I think the starcore AI packs are indeed a tremendous creation and really improve the challenge in the some what easy game. I was merely saying that one particular robot in the v1 of starcore (alien queen) didnt live up to the hype I was expecting as I have read past messages that suggest its incredible. im sorry it came off this way and I hope you wont think ill of me I look forward to playing the starcore v2, v3 and v4 packs in the future.

I know it sounds fun but im pretty sure it would just end up being for the lols coz I reckon it would ultimately fail in a battle,
I seem to remember seeing something on youtube about a box that had legs and arms and walked like a human would (the whole swinging your arms and legs in time sorta thing) But it could only move for a short time before collapsing, pretty sweet all the same tho :P

Dammit, I need to get some skills at snapper loading.
Awesome design and I'd probably go for the DSA myself, and I personally dont think it matters where you stick the razors, think it looks fine as is, but hey what do I know right?

But then I couldnt glitch the plow inside the servo motor using a base anchor as the extender would have to travel through the battery, and I havent been able to stack a base anchor and an extender in a battery...
Nice ideas though and I hope to keep improving :)
Thanks everyone.

This hasn't even started yet.
Thanks for the enthusiasm though. You have DSL right?

really? it only took about 5 minutes
It just made laugh because its a card that seems very much like an actual card from the game that could be used (although it might be considered a tad over powered...) I made one too :) :

I gotta say I disagree there mate, have u played the campaigns, they're so awesome... I mean sure I predominantly use COD to play with my mates from college (having a massive private match with 16 players is the tits...) but the campaign is still pretty awesome and shows a lot of effort went in to the games if your not a multiplayer kind of guy, and if this still counts for something COD 5 is my favourite right now and im hoping black ops tops it, gotta love Nazi Zombies... And Can someone think of a name for my main class?
Scar-H AA-12 Red Dot Sight
Sleight of Hand Pro Stopping Power Pro Steady Aim Pro
I'm gonna get flamed for this.
Martyrdom.
Dont really think you need steady aim or martydom, if it were me I'd use a set up more like this: Scar - Silencer Spas - Grip Claymores Stun grenades Scavenger Pro Stopping Power Pro Ninja Pro Pain Killer And call it something like Ninja Defence... Watch my creativity shine...
