What's with the spiked clubs? Also T-Minus wheels suck, swap them out for something better.

the wheels look fine, fedoras tend to confuse the mind, so forgive kurt.

it means you don't have to worry about Bindings when wiring the spinner with the forward control and the robot always uses the forward control and it's never messed up the performance for me because it's a spinner and has no spring action weapons.[/b]

what?

You don't need to worry about the bindings with omni, you just use a button/switch labelled "spin" and a smartzone and button for "fire". Bindings doesn't even need to be touched.

The name of the python is not the "weapon name". It is the name of the script that the AI will use.

You haven't included using a button called "srimech" for self-righting.

And for a burst motor, naming it Fire works near universally.

Instead of saying "if it's not math.pi I can't help you" find the AI chart and link that in the slide.

Or a real juggler/rammer or popup/rammer hybrid. (Not wammer). I don't think this has been built before, right ?

But a rammer with either of these bot types is counter-intuitive, no?

And I'd say that triple hybrid is more of a FS/Juggler/VS tbh.

For future reference, try not to use razors in IRL style building. It looks alright so you don't need to change it.
Looks decent for a thwackbot.

Why not use razors?

isn't the point of a full body hammer to use the lighter part of the robot (drive) to make the heavier part hit it (hammer)

because what I'm seeing is the exact opposite

Modifications / New DSL-S Pack
« on: June 18, 2014, 12:25:36 PM »
So, it's been a couple years since the last Nar AI for DSL2.1. 50% of the bots are now horrifically outdated, and from how I see it, there is little chance of a groundbreaking innovation that'll change DSL-S enough to make current bots so in a few years time.

I propose a new community AI pack- but it should be a fairly difficult one. There will be a few rules:

1. There will be a rebuilding of the stock DSL bots- except the replicas. This will mean 45 free slots if you only want to submit a single bot. The stock DSL bots submitted must continue the theme of the original.
2. Each team requires a LW, MW and HW. The other three slots can be filled with one of the following: AW,BW,CW,SHW,UHW.
3. Only one bot of each weightclass per team to encourage a variety of the other weightclasses.
4. You may submit added teams- I will be doing a few. Include a Team Name, motto and image with your submission.
5. There will be a minimum quality requirement- but I won't straight up reject a bot and tell you to stop. I'll give you what advice I can and let you resubmit to your hearts content (not too much spam, please).
6. Be imaginative- all bot types and hybrids can be submitted.
7. Will follow the usual DSL-S rules, and cheatbot2 is banned. BFE, AAM, Hax mode are also banned. Trov glitch is allowed.
8. I can be more lenient with the building rules on UHW bots- but don't push yer luck m8.
9. For all you fellows who don't think you've got what it takes, let Nary help you here - https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=11591.0

Claimed Stock AI bots:

Extra Teams (to be started after stock teams complete):
1.
2.
3.
etc

To do list:
Grab a clean copy of DSL
Name
Logo
Muchos AI
Anti-Ballasts

Tell me what you think, and merry building!
