Only mistake you made is building it out of steel. If you want any sort of creative flexibility, use Aluminium and Titanium only.

My. ****ing. God. IT'S BEAUTIFUL! IRL though, where would the motor go? Either you have a really small motor with no power or you'll have to add some bulk somewhere to give the illusion of motor housing... Also agree with Neon's observation of adding some drive motor housing.
