With regards to tournaments, how do you expect a large one on the scale of CC/BBEANS to function when nobody even enters? I know I could certainly run a large tournaments, and I know there are other members willing to as well. We simply don't have enough people without a "big name" tournament.
I totally agree on the whole Meta thing. All I do these days in enter some tryhard 1WD bot unless it's banned and then I enter some funky stilt thing. I have no motivation to build anything new when I feel like I have a pretty good example of most archetypes already. I really want to get into DSL 2.2 but that seems to be entirely Mechavore discs which is even worse than the old razor tip meta.

I've made a Barberous style drum before. I just used NPCFs and axle loaded drums onto them. I agree that long thin motors would be cool.
Liking the second one.
NPCFs aren't great for weapon motors so i dunno if I'd do that.
They're still the most powerful motor of that form factor. They just don't have the maxspeed but that's not necessary in a drum really.

Cool, I knew that bot would win something when I got round to entering it. (It's maybe 3 years old). It's my take on the "best all round HS". Although I admit it does lack top armour hammers tend not to be too common. I guess I never had to face a quality popup so not sure how it would fare against them either.

Nah, I just wiggle about until it works tbh. Just zoom in and keep trying different things. Obviously you need to axle load sometimes etc...
How long does it usually take you? I've been trying stacks for 15 minutes and it feels like I'm doing something wrong(yet sometimes I can get the stack in no time)
That's just how it is.
