I'm pretty sure the host is unable to change their entry once signups have begun. This is to avoid hosts receiving all the entrants, then changing their bot to one that can beat them all. It keeps the playing field level, since the entrants don't know their opponents for sure either, thus none of the entrants can alter their bots to beat their specific competition.

So apparently Gametechmods is worth $7,841. Or just under £4,850.

I like #2 a lot better, but I'm surprised ACAMS accepted it.

and would wamming racks also count as a ramming weapon ?
What is a wamming rack?
like a bunch of irons or razors or whatever pointing up at an angle instead of facing directly at the opponent

like so
(Image removed from quote.)

No, but the ram plates will pass because they do damage!

That robot sucks eggs. :gawe:

But seriously, #2 has the spin, burst and static weapons required. Disqualifying it at this late stage gives #1 a free win. And apologies if I'm sounding rude, but there's no way #1 is deserving of a win, in my view.

Looking very cool. On the big brother, I'd try to make it look like one solid flipper, rather than two seperate ones. Two flippers only really works if they're narrow arms, in my view.

Also, why LB round 3? WB round 3 isn't up yet, seems like a slightly confused order.

The LB needs twice as many rounds as the WB, to accommodate the bots being sent down to it after every match in the Winner's Bracket.

I'd say in terms of ego, a frightening mixture of Mary Queen of Scots, Brangelina, and Jesus.

Last time I checked, he'd gotten more sex than you had. :gawe:

Plowsector

Looks alright, apart from the oddly anged motors. Why aren't they able to be attached horizontally?

What drive did Bullet use?

4 Redbirds, IIRC. I thought it was RADs, judging by the bot's size.

Signups haven't started yet. :gawe:

I'll be entering this with my next fleet of Caledonian machines. Hopefully I can obtain that elusive gold. I've got a 2nd, 3rd and 4th thus far, hopefully I can complete the set here.

So it's more like an NCR glitch spinner? It'll be really unstable if that's the case, I imagine. When the thwack arm's perpendicular to the direction of travel, it's gonna have an absurdly short stance, so it could end up tipping itself over in some way.

It's more like Volatile Partisan, in my view. If the motors were to rotate, the chassis would continue on in the same direction. So whatever PY Volatile Partisan uses would be best for this, I reckon.

Looks fair to me. =) It does flip itself over a little, but at least it's invertible. Most of my bots seem to flip themselves over in some way, that's the downside of ultra-compact designs.

More AW stuff. Thought I'd have a crack with Fracture's adorable little chassis. Entered into Robo Zone 2, here's XOR.

At what point in my GTM career have I ever been "badass"?

Also, Not Quite Evil Council for Quirky Miniboss Squad. :gawe: Unless there's a trope for a group comprised mainly of good guys, but with an evil leader out of necessity.

Lu-Tze died, and a guy named ACAMS started up a forum called "Gametechmods."

lol, that'll never catch on.
