BWs in stock are an endangered species, but in DSL there are plenty. Just check out BW Bash for proof.

BW's in stock are waaaay better than AW's. Just enough weight for multiple designs, enough lack of weight for the difficulty of doing so.

Hey did I tell anyone I was going to register on the Wizforums but the day I decided on my name the place conked out and the top threads became redirects to here the day after?

I would like to try a quick vanilla adventure/challenge map, or any off-beat map, with a friend of mine. Anyone got any suggestions for two players? We tried an ant farm map (don't remember which, but I grabbed it off of Planet Minecraft) but that went off the tracks quickly as my friend began burrowing straight down and ignoring my insistence that we try and play the map 'straight' because he said it was too complicated. Sooooo... preferably something simple.

SM...define 'server'. Just as a word, not in any kind of context.
Speaking of context, that question seems odd with no context. I would simply say, "Google it" and be a smart ass but I'm trying to stay out of trouble. Plus it wasn't directed at me so I'll stay out of it.

Reply to the source code discussion, incoming...

While it doesn't hurt to make another attempt at contacting Gabriel, ACAMS has said several times that they have tried everything they can to get Gabriel or Atari to let us have it to get no results every time.

My personal theory is that Gabriel or Atari lost the source code and are too embarassed to admit they screwed up so they ignore our emails, letters, etc. I may be wrong, but it seems like the most plausible reason in my mind.

Serge had a thread on getting it. I think it may be deleted.

Ok, enough AW tomfoolery.

I'll do this in my own time, but it's taking too long, so I'll be doing segment 2 of the MW bracket.

http://challonge.com/reht7ry

All future segments are going to be 7 bots each, with one bot going through. This applies to all weights but AW which was stupidly not done that way.

So this bracket includes Stormraiders, Scoot or Die 2, the bots from BBEANS and Ill Omen, duking it out with each other.

Because shock profanity works through desensitization, while group targeting profanity works through classical conditioning.

Repeating "fags" as an insult only solidifies the idea that something is wrong and disgusting with them.

This is a discussion that entirely depends on if one thinks words can change. I know I'll never be able to convince you that the word "gay" has had a slight change in meaning, you'll never be able to tell me words are final in their definitions.

I'll never e able to tell you Slut Walks aren't a bad thing. You'll never be able to tell me they enforce sexism.

Perhaps ACAMS has banned everyone called Steven. Or October 16th is GTM's Annual Bass Fishing Day. There may be a million obscure rules that only he knows about, and none of us have a clue.

I like fish. It'll be a birthday present.

Okay, I suggest everyone play SH 14: Waking Up.

It's plain hilarious when you are lighing up a cave and about 15 Skeletons pour out with swiftness and fire resistance potions attached.

I'm going to be blunt:

It's a great bot and will go pretty far, barring stupid matchups or bad luck.

Also, it's got a nice skin. You put a ton of effort. (pre-building maths lol why are you like me so much)

ORLY? xD. based on previous stock LW tournaments anyone who doesn't enter a HS is bound to get wrecked

That's because all the decent builders are idiots and forget to think that treating LW's like HW's is a good idea.

It's why you see "I can't work with teh waet" posts.

Of course you can. You idiots all skimp on the drive and assume RAD makes the cut, then you go all out with the weaponry or batteries. HS win because everyone makes their bots so slow that they always have time to spin up. Every LW round that is anything verses a HS is like haymaker Vs NOS-BOT or Destiny Vs Mammoth or facemelikeaman Vs Pinball. Stop skimping on drive and start using Redbirds, morons. You lose because they spin up.

Apart from that drive rant, here's a quick few tips:

Hammers: Improve drive. VS: Improve drive. FS: Improve drive. All 3 types above usually have decent trapping, but RAD isn't enough. if anything, it makes your bot worse as you protect the HS from your weaponry, giving them about 1000 free points because you are slow as heck. Also: If you killed opponents fast enough, battery power isn't a concern. Try just going with a pink or two to save weight for something important.

tl;dr HS are the only bot type apart from SNS and popups that have styles and philosophies of building that easily translate from LW to MW to HW, so stop adding moar razors, you absolute morons.

ACAMS is to ragey to post like that and does harsher stuff.

Click wouldn't really pull this sort of prank and doesn't do silly stuff, but he is soft enough.

Goose is a troll king, but Inactive.

Darkrat is missing.

Starcore is to arrogant and AFK to bother with something unrelated to Stock building in such a way.

Madiba has similar quirks, is soft, lets people off and has the trollish personality.

MADIBA.

Remember to keep the baseplate angled down if you wish to keep the wedge good while you redesign.

Why not just use 2 baseplate anchors for the drive? It would be much lighter.

No bursting.
Then use a blue snapper
I'd have to stack the anchor and CB into a battery then or use Hax mode to do it, and I can't really be bothered because I wasted 2 hours toying about with axle bursting to an extent where I'm just bored of it now when I was making some HS.
