CLICK HERE TO GET THE BBEANS AI PACK.I am asymptotically close to 100% sure that everything is included and working here, but please do report any bugs you happen to find. Some features of the BBEANS AI Pack: -150 bots of every difficulty level, from Spinner from the west to Absolute Chaos and everything in between, so you can be challenged whether you're a noob or a veteran. -25 never before seen bots that didn't make it into BBEANS because they were changed, updated, withdrawn, too late, or illegal. -New and improved AI for all BBEANS1 bots and some BBEANS3 bots. -All the arenas used for BBEANS tournaments, including the RA2T2 arena, the Small Arena, and both versions of the BBEANS Tournament Arena. -Six new events in the Team HQ: BBEANS1, 3, and 5, both 1-on-1 and rumble versions. -Five new music tracks for the main menu, team HQ, and botlab. -Some of the DSL sound effects I used while recording stock matches. -Some new menu graphics. -The Stacked Supervolt and Nifty Power/Control tournament prizes. But keep in mind that having them in your bot lab is not the same as winning them. You still have to win these prizes in order for them to be tournament-legal. (The only reason I included them is because there are some BBEANS5 bots that use the Stacked Supervolt.) -Some bonus easter eggs for whoever can find them. Have fun! And now I will finally get back to work on DSL3. Expect a revival of the DSL3 preview thread sometime soon.

Well it looks like the melty brain SnS's in the Nar AI just use all default settings, so you can just use regular bindings. You don't need anything special.
As for your other question, you can make an AI that plays a sound, but you can't make it do it for other bots' smart zones.

I hate to have to point this out, but...
Black Matter isn't invertible.
The normals on Lock Nut's 12kg teeth are facing the wrong way.

But what wedge did u use for allomancer, eg skirt hinge or Metal hinge? It's a metal hinge with 2 flipper segments. And I'd love to use grippier wheels, but Taz wheels are the smallest ones that will still let it be invertible (which is critical for self righting).

I bet you could make that bot invertible if you really tried. Looks like it's mainly those angled disc panels in front of the wheels that are keeping it from being invertible.
Nice bot though, looks powerful.

I don't know why you don't like Explosive Materials, but that bot looks good. I like how you used the back skirt hinge to attach both the front and back skirts.

Decisions, decisions... Which one of these bots would be better for Clash Cubes 3? First, Allomancer: NPC fast drive, 4 ant batts, 1mm titanium armor, 2 Perm 80's. I like this bot because it actually has a large, cubular chassis with stuff inside of it. I didn't want to make the ever-popular tiny-battery-box-with-everything-outside-the-chassis because it doesn't really fit the spirit of Clash Cubes. The letter perhaps, but not the spirit. The top drum spins down and the bottom drum spins up, so it has a tendency to grab wedges and chew them up in between, which is cool (you can see it in the splash). It can also self right by turning quickly when upside down. Allomancer's main weaknesses: it's not very powerful damage-wise, it sometimes flips itself if it collides with another bot too quickly, and it sometimes does this: Yes, I've checked with F12 and the collision is fine, the wedge is actually slightly under the floor. Not really a weakness (it can get under most of the Nar AI) but its legality in a tournament would be questionable at best. And it can get under hardly anything with any other wedge setup. The second bot, Kheper: This bot is too weird and original to show in a splash, so I uploaded a video. Magmotor drive, 1mm titanium, 3 ant batts. The idea here is to make an overhead trap/saw bot that doesn't need to get under its opponent first (because I can't make good wedges in DSL). So I made it perfectly invertible and very heavily armored both top and bottom, so it can withstand about 2 minutes of punishment from a typical popup before it starts falling apart. Hopefully by then, the popup will be KO'd. Kheper is probably my best DSL MW now. It can beat most of the HS's, popups, and rammers in the Nar AI as long as its weapon Magmotor doesn't take too many hits (if only I could use the BBEANS armored magmotor...). I don't like the design as much for Clash Cubes as Allomancer, though, because I had to resort to the tiny-chassis-with-everything-external approach. You can hardly tell there's a cube sandwiched between those discs. Which bot I use will probably depend on what the arena ends up being.

ACAMS doesn't need to approve every tournament, he'll just close the ones he thinks are badly planned or won't get finished. And I don't think you need to worry about that; this tournament looks like it could succeed.

Hey, thanks for putting me on the registration list Reier! The bracket filled up so fast I wouldn't have gotten in otherwise, it looks like.
Now what bot to use... I've got a lot of old heavyweights that would be fun to bring out. I'm thinking the original Deathwatch Queen right now since it looks the most n00bish (the chassis is the maximum possible size with the points dragged off the edge of the grid). Just gotta AI it and I'll get it in...

I guess full body hammers aren't as rare and original as I thought they'd be!
I vote #5 by the way.
Which is clearly Redline's. Dunno how anyone mistook it for Sage...

I didn't know Blendo was in Robot Wars.
I wonder what those judges would have thought about The Mortician's blade (or was it Brutality?) flying into the arena wall...

You win winning.
That is, winning is its own reward.

I like the one with the wedge in the back. If your weapon gets shattered or something and you have to enter a fight weaponless, you can still fight as a wedgebot. Also it just plain looks cooler.
And Ripto is looking great. That's a thick disc for an AW.

the one up the wedge of your robot ?
Good guess! That was probably too easy.

That bot looks really good. Does the weapon work against horizontal spinners?

I turned SFTW into a component Then I used plus.AddXtra to spawn a whole ton of them. Works the same way as the field of Fatboys. You may be seeing the SFTW model somewhere in the BBEANS AI pack, so keep an eye out... CHALLENGE: Can you identify the real SFTW in either screenshot? (it is visible in both)

My Darkling, or Naryar's Darkling?
Mine is powerful, but it has a bad wedge. And a bot like that needs a good wedge.
Actually that is the problem with most of my bots. It's hard to make a good wedge.

Inspired by Hell's Sawmill I see...
The chassis doesn't need to be that wide. You can put the battery on the other side of the Snapper and bring in the sides a bit more. Also, I'm sure you can use smaller wheels. With the extra weight gained I would put some armor over the front.
Nice skin too.
