Emails don`t go to a pc. You got an Email account and with that you can log in on every computer.

Unless he is using Microsoft Outlook... then most of the time that program will retrieve the emails and load them on the computer itself.  Outlook sucks like that.

I highly recommend Google's  gmail email service.  It is free and operates just like Thyrus just explained. You will have more freedom that way.

Edit: I have a basic DSL lightweight built now... I can join anybody if a teammate is needed to fill the tourney up.

@JoeBlo: I have yours AI'ed, but if you would prefere your own then thats fine.
@JD: You have sent me an entry and it has been AI'ed :)
Thanks all for your condolences, it was just a shame that i've never had to face a death before and then when i do it's someone very close to me :(
But im sure things will sort themselves out soon.
Having a few problems with a couple of the AI's, but once Mad or someone is around i will ask for help then.
Quite a lot of good robots, mainly Pop-Ups and Spinners, but what do you expect really? :P
Hopefully i can get this done soon, and hopefully i can have a bit more time AI'ing the bots tommorow, as its snowing heaviliy down here, so i may get a day off of school (although i have had to go in before when it was 10inches thick, so yeah)

DOH!  hahahaha... well i just sent it again just a moment ago.  You can delete that message... I should have checked my "sent messages" box. Damn, I am tired.  Thanks for AI-ing my bot, I appreciate it.

I like the way you think JD

I added a faint black glow/ fade to them so they didnt appear so sharp

(Image removed from quote.) (Image removed from quote.)

and also made a matching videos one

Thanks Joe! I love the Videos one you made and I appreciate you improving the ones I made. The darker border looks awesome! I was having a hard time making that happen on my ancient version of Photoshop.

I am between jobs a the moment on my lunch break. Gotta work a 15 hour day... I probably wont be able to work on a TV icon until tomorrow.
edit: D'oh! video = TV icon... i got confused... man I am tired.

These are not smileys, everybody wanted to make smileys and we have plenty.

Oh... I thought you were replacing the existing smileys because the size was too small. My mistake. Glad I didn't put too much work into it.  What size do you need these D and S icons to be? 30 x 20 again I presume?

I will see what I can come up with. I got about an hour to burn and I don't feel like building another failbot atm.

Hey, why did the other thread get the axe?  I was going to work on some more smileys today... but I guess you don't need new icons now?

Hi my bot is uploaded not sure where to bot its uploaded used the componet uploader was that right or is there a another way I should of done it?

You should have:

compressed the .bot file with a program like winzip or winrar.  The file needs to be in .zip or .rar format.

you then need to upload that compressed file using the "file host" on the left hand side of the Game Tech Mods Main website.

After you upload it with that file host it will give you a address link to where that file is now located.  (just highlight the entire line of text in the top box from beginning to end)

You then need to send that address link to Joe via a private message.  When he receives that message he will be able to click on that link and download the file for your bot.  He will then uncompress it and use it for the tournament.

Hope this helps.

can't you put a razor in the center of each disc as well?  I think that would be worth ditching a couple beater bars for... the more moving blades you have on those discs the better.

Backyard grinder is a work of art!

I don't recognize the teeth though... hmmm not sure what they weigh but I will throw out a suggestion for giggles:

Maybe ditch the current teeth and downgrade to Light DSL teeth, if you have enough weight saved up put NPC drive on the front of it and make it four wheel drive. It will add weight to the front and stabilize the bot more. Might even be able to stabilize it a ton if you use wheels that have a superior collision mesh/good traction.  I know the front wheels will be out in the open, but it will give you a greater chance for attack. Pluse there would not be too much harm done if the front wheels eventually got lobbed off, as long as you have them long enough to get a bot up in the vortex of doom it might work out well.

You are more of an expert at DSL than I...  But I still like making extreme suggestions! :D

okay just get over it, I forgot you guys are older and would'nt laughf
For a joke to be funny, it has to make sense. Since there are no hairy twigs that stick to things, and hairy penises don't self adhere to flesh, your joke fails. It seems as though you were just wanting to make a dick joke, but didn't feel like taking the time to flesh it out. When comparing a penis to something made of wood, an easy place to start is to make a morning wood joke.
Frezal's pun is funnier than this whole thread combined :D

You know i have my replica of Last Rites a few pages back, and i also entered it into Replica Wars. :P

Aw crap. I am sorry about that Triton. I didn't mean any disrespect by making another Last Rites. Honestly, I forgot you made one earlier.

Edit: btw Goldenfox... do you have any links to super detailed pics of the bot in your avatar? I think I might replicate that one next...

you like last rites dont u?

Heh, it certainly is one of my current favorites.  I liked watching it battle in a youtube video a while back. It is one very destructive bot that is for sure!

Here is my Last Rites replica that I have been working on this weekend.

I can't figure out a way to fill up the weight limit on this bot though... the setup is too simple.  If I were to trim it down I could most likely make it a middleweight, but it is a Heavyweight IRL.  I splurged and went with Steel 10 & a few extra batteries.

Combat wise... it can't KO any DSL replica very well.  Usually wins by points.

Awesome Replicas Thyrus Joe and Zog!  I can't wait to face them in the tournament.

The tourney rekindled my passion for making replicas and I am currently working on a new one this weekend. I hope to post that here later.

Great work guys!

@Sonny_Ressetti

Your robot has custom components, please may you resend it without the custom components.

Does loading the bot crash your game?  if it still loads, Sonny might have simply reskinned some components... he likes to do that.
