Looking a bit better. You see the front wedge of your first version, how it's narrower at the front than it is at the back? You should try to replicate that on the larger version, that's more or less what I was getting at.

'Tis better, yes. Although you should try to maintain the general shape of the first version, just making it a bit larger, all nicely scaled up.

Not too bad. Pretty simple, but it's a decent likeness all the same. Perhaps if you expanded the chassis slightly so that the flipper didn't hang over the front edge like that.

Just got my car running again. My hands smell of petrol.

I've kind of still got a slightly experimentative style, but on the whole I try to build bots to beat a specific bot that I've lost to in the past, such as Bane Revolution, or 3V=IR. When I actually have some spare time to build something, that is.

It only seems to be protecting the motors, which are invincible anyway. They'll start smoking, but they'll still work.

Looks cool. I might remove the rear protective thing, I can't see it getting hit too much, and maybe add some LDS teeth on the remaining Beaters.

Haven't a clue. Should have thought Click's showcase would be up there with a bunch of views. Too much awesome to quantify in words.

And the dude above me has pretty much leveled up to one of the best DSL builders around.
Squnkey for AU?
I think that's the generally held belief by the majority of the forum. Not sure if there's going to be a big surge of promotions soon like there was at the end of 2009.

Hey LiNcK. I've just realised how hard that is to type properly. But yeah, Hax Mode has been discovered and experimented with, Sparkey has been permabanned, a few of the other noobs have disappeared, and Naryar is now supreme overlord of everything, but still has to answer to ACAMS and the other administrators. JoeBlo took some time off for IRL stuff, and people got a bit mad about him not releasing Backlash. He wanted to complete it, rather than hand in something half-assed, but he got a bit PO'd at the forum's general response, do he decided to leave until we'd all calmed down a little bit.

I will also captain. We don't know who's in our team, do we? We just receive a bot and pass it along the chain.
Yes, of course. Is your memory failing ?
What's memory again? And I just couldn't be bothered looking for the CW2 threads.

12th place. Not bad at all. Either Reier is popular with the Guests, or very very lazy.

In that case, you want to phone Sean Lock, French man.

I think it's more the absurdly high fracture value that help the Heavy Plows. What I'd do is use something like a CF extender or Flipper Segment between the DSL bar and plow, rather than the one big DSL bar you have at the moment. If it sticks out like that, it's more of a target than the intermediary component would be behind the plow.

They can be interpreted as phallic symbols sometimes.
Anything can be to misandrists, these days. Even trees.
That reminds me of a joke I heard on QI once. Unfortunately I can't find a video of it. "A lot of people think 'Oh, torpedoes, they're the shape they are because they're demonstrating man's aggressions,' but they're not. They're shaped like that because that's the most aerodynamic shape. They wouldn't be very successful if they were shaped like vaginas, would they?"

i went into my local vidya shop when modern warfare 69 or whatever and battlefield 5 were released and i couldn't tell the difference from the box art. From what i've heard from my mates they're the same gaem anyway.
Run about and shoot stuff. Occasionally throw a grenade. Thus my point is proven. =)
