Actually, you can make do with having a simple sloped rear if you want to deflect flanked attacks (though sloping sides is more logical than sloping the rear), so that funky stuff (that eats a lot of weight) at the rear's more into aesthetics than into performance.
As for the battery power, popups aren't meant for endurance anyway. It's not like the matches will last more than 2 minutes. :P
So yeah, I'll leave the more generic advice to others. XD

Can't really give you much effective advice if you want to retain its aesthetics, but replace all those nifties and pinks with 2 blacks and it's fine for now. :D

1. Use 1 black, more power and less kg's. And I thought you knew your stock. A Nifty's fine for this.
2. Use a different weapon, Ice Picks have normals. Not necessarily. Curved hammers are somewhat a waste of weight here, so ice picks are a good weapon choice.
4. Get a wedge HA! Build one with a wedge and make sure it's good.
6. Get Starcore, and watch how quickly that gets ripped apart. SCv2?

@tvs - I would find a cleaner setup for the skirts and trapper but it looks so cool as is.
