Somebody is using an image that has possible trojan capabilities. I think... I get this warning every now and then on the forums today:  Whoever is posting that image... please stop. I think it might cause some of us trouble.

Ditch all those T connectors and replace them with extenders... but have the secondary attachment points of the extenders rotated to face forward. Attach the irons to those attachment points. You will save a lot of weight that way. Learn to use the secondary attachment points on extenders instead of using T connectors and angle connectors, it will make for more effecient attachment.

intel gma 3100 is what it says im using. if i looked in the right place. but im not that good with computers. and i did download and run a patch that is on the rb2 site
Ahhh... I believe that is your problem. The intel GMA is an on board graphics controller. RA2 really works best with an ATI Radeon Graphics card. If you have a desktop computer I would recommend getting a Radeon. If you are running it on a laptop, then I think you might be out of luck. On board graphic chipsets like the Intel GMA are not widely supported by a lot of games. RA2 is kinda old... and also not supported by Atari anymore, so they wont come out with any updates or patches to make the game support that Intel chipset.

i dont think i could get a picture of any problems. it would almost need to be a vid. but if someone has xfire, they can add me and chat that way. screen name cmartin7x . and do any of you guys use ventrillo ? its a voice chat software that we talk on during our events. it makes things a lot easier..and its free lol
Are you running an Nvidia card on your computer? The game does not like that chipset very much. It runs better on ATI Radeon cards... Also, did you download and run the game patch?

To be honest... the snow is eating my computer too. But then again... I open appx 8 tabs of GTM stuff at the same time to read everything. This snow will probably tame my habit. :P My computer is a slouch too... 1.4 ghz Athlon xp with 1.5 Gigs of ram. The odd thing is that the snow makes Firefox eat up 95 percent of my processor according to my system log.
Weird... cute... but weird.

Thanks for the updates Doom! This tourney has been a blast to watch. Man, Guybrush put up a great fight... I will have to do that old bot some justice and come out with a revision soon. There are sooo many improvements I could make on that bot.

I spy in one of the pics that your razors are pointed downwards...
If this has been mentioned earlier in the showcase I apologize. But, is the AI set up so that after the initial ram a set of razors pops down to strike again as the chassis moves upwards? I wonder how effective it would be to have a plow further back behind the razors to popdown at a certain point so that the bot will halt... move back... and strike again. I would imagine, as is, that the bot probably flies over a few wedges after the initial hit.

I see where you are coming from Sparkey...
Think of it this way. Let's say that your current bot can kill emergency in less than 20 seconds. Ok cool. bravo.
You will get tired of killing emergency in 20 seconds and you will improve to kill it quicker...
Eventually... even that will get boring too.
Pretty soon you will want to join the ranks and try out Starcore. (no pressure... dive in when you feel like it)
Once you get there, you will find that it is a whole different ballgame for bots... and they will destroy yours.
So, soak this in... the advice we give you is helpful for your future gaming enjoyment... and for tournaments too!
If you want to be competitive in tournaments you gotta take us more seriously and stop being so defensive about your bots. We understand that you are proud of them... but we want to help you improve too.
Because... Reier wont be making Noob Warz Tourneys forever. (we think)

 Hellbringer (all I have is a team splash at the moment...) I spent a long time working on Hellbringer. It really pleased me to see it fight well in BBEANS. It is the bot in my arsenal that I most identify with for sure.

Yeah... I am not sure how motivated Jonzu will be to photoshop Dawn being beheaded... ... ... ... I might have some extra time this weekend... I will see what I can do.
