That drum is worse that your former builds, i'm afraid.
-A bit too much empty space
-The rear poker is useless
-Your drum STILL needs a bigger drum and less exposed wheels
-Your HS has a chassis that is too tall, even for a dual perm (in case that isn't a six mag anymore) it is too tall.
-drum needs one or two batteries for battery power, really.

I'm suffering a from a bit of builder's block. Could anyone name a weight class and robot type for my next showcase bot?
This isn't really the place to say that, but okay.
I was going to post it in my showcase but IMO showcases are more about showing your actual robots and not just random blogging. If people would rather see that sort of thing in my showcase then I could post it there from now on.
It's fine to post "give me ideas on what to build" on your showcase because it is directly linked to your building. It is ALSO fine to post that in there but we expect it more in your showcase, because you don't post your bots here.

Flamethrowers allowed never, by the way. IMO stock components have too little HP and flamethrowers will likely instarape any bot powered by motors (read: virtually all of them) and turn the tourney into a snoozefest. The reason they work in DSL is because most components have upwards of thousands of HP (with few exceptions) and higher speed, allowing them to not run at <2 MPH when they lose HP, while in stock every motor has a flat 400 HP and become virtually immobile when their drive motors lose HP (especially at LW level and lower). If Redace or Virus Bomb could throw their flame rammers up on the botexchange I could prove or disprove my theorycrafting, but as it stands right now flamethrowers likely won't be allowed for MO2.
Yeah, I think you may be right. Though really flamers are big and unless people are hiding them under casters it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

HW needs more reach on the weapon and less on the wheels.
SHW looks cool. though why is that not a HW but a SHW ? weaponry and drive are definitely HW level. i bet you put aluminium 10 in there or something.
