I do agree with Urjak. I bet Mako 4 would have won if there was no havok from SM.
Basically, that shell spinner does wield havok as a shield! 23465

I don't like WBC wheels, but i decided to have a try with them.
I'm lazy to post pics of it, but i made a very simple, weaponless beetleweight with just WBC wheels/Magmotor drive, plus 2 ant batts. Small chassis with 3mm Titanium. That thing is insanely fast, but does nearly no damage (i fought again True Love, and he won by points 2500/60). The problem is that the WBC wheels DO have a piercing and concussion value, something like 1.3 piercing and 1 concussion ! And i hit TL several times, and hard. Why the wheel... eer, i mean ![]() 23467

Zakker it would be a good bot if it wouldn't be that unstable. 23469

We had a builder named Venko this summer that brought much drama to the forums, and his building style was very close to Absolute spike defense.

piglets for drive... classic. the usual n00b mistake.
Also, piglets for a 30kg+ weapon and 10mm steel with a wedge => FAIL. 23473

oh, right, then i'm giving my opinions on that...
-If you go under a wide bot, it's fine. But if you go under a thin bot, your spinners will be less efficient. If you go under Smashbox 2 head on with this bot (good luck doing that), only one of your spinners will do damage, the other will spin freely, or even more SM2 will lodge between your two spinners and no damage at all. When you juggle, your hands are relatively close to each other, right ? -With a wide juggler, either the motors and weapon are external -more vulnerable-, either the bot is wide- more chassis weight. Or it is overlapped like NW. -The DSL bar for defense between the spinners is pretty much useless because no bot will hit there. They will hit the spinners first- and if both of the spinners are KO, that bar won't help you. -This would need more defense. -Wedges could be simpler. If you just stick with snappers and a simple sheet on them, you'll have deadly (and lighter) ones. -This is one of my favourite drive trains, but IMO jugglers need to be even faster. 23474

That bot has absolutely no side defense and you can definitely cut down on empty space.
Also, BBGruff SC3 is crap. 23475

GBBS like fashion... i doubt about that.
And if then, then nobody will have wedges and it will be a field day for undercutter wedge builders like me, R0B0 and Jules 23476

I second R0B0's proposal.
Also the srimech on MLO doesn't needs to be that heavy. And it's a triple post. 23477

@Somebody: That's something really different. Ripterra VS DOAM was a VS against a HS. Driving was much important and Ripterra flanked DOAM who had WEDGES.
Not here. We have a sloooow poker VS a shell spinner. GBBB can't flank SM. GBBS IS going to have it's hammers ripped as we already saw. Only a havok can make GBBS win, or a big AI error, like GBBS pinning SM, but in now way it can do that. @SD: True. Although i'm not sure about R0B0. @R0B0: Although i agree on the shell spinner weakness, i'm not sure if your razors could stand up to GBBS or SM's incessant battering. I'm stating the obvious: obZen IS a good bot but it suffers from being too steep and tall for a popup, and not enough weapons. As InfCon 2 has wasted weight (the teeth plus bad battery setup, but i was a newbie about batteries in DSL then) and low battery power. 23478

Good to see someone that builds jugglers and understands snapper wedges.
Still, this is just a wannabe. 23479
