I don't think I have the weight for wheel guards AND flamer guards. Maybe some ultralight 40cm angled aluminium skirt wheelguards ? I -could- decrease armor, but eh.
And as said I will probably use some weight to make a better wedge... now what to do ? 2344
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Naryar's DSL showcase - War is my meat, blood is my drink ! /edgy« on: February 26, 2015, 05:03:02 PM »
building for battlebots X.
![]() What? Brass Bull is evolving! 5mm titanium, npc fasts. rest you can see. I still need to finish it. I know I need a cover for the flamers who are not IRL at the moment, and possibly a better-looking wedge. But I can't just set up a small wedge in there unless I just BFE the skirt hinge into the beta. any ideas about that, and other thoughts about the bot ? build started as a SHW. maybe i'll do a SHW version of that and name it Iron Bull ? (Bronze being stronger than brass, and iron being stronger than bronze. Not so sure about the density of them however) 2345
Tournament Archives / Re: Total Elimination - SBV« on: February 26, 2015, 04:10:11 PM »Have you seen the state of your bot son ? It's so fast and it has such ridiculous turnspeed that you can't even stay on the top of the koth. Or it stayed once, and another time thanks to being pushed on top of it. Or half of the time it wallows into the hazards or turns on itself. At least my bot was moving slowly due to srimech and could have selfrighted... yours was immobile. 2347

well my bot cannot self right properly, i'm screwed now. I should have thought about this, damn.
![]() Even if my bracket shouldn't be difficult. Even so the amount of bots tossing themselves OVER the KotH because they're too powerful is gonna be hilarious. 2350

3 or 6 are the best. 1 I am not convinced, but definitely third best.
Now who to vote for... 2351

honestly just send it. It's cool and if anyone gives a crap about that not being IRL they will probably get lynched.

Ironforge TC Showcases / Re: Tibsy's Ironforge Showcase (Never gonna let you down)« on: February 24, 2015, 06:47:06 PM »
Maybe it is merely the bot's shadow. I don't know.
The darker parts above the wedges, are they components or just shadows ? 2354
Ironforge TC Showcases / Re: Tibsy's Ironforge Showcase (Never gonna let you down)« on: February 24, 2015, 06:28:04 PM »
What is it with these dark things above your wedges ? Are these components, and if that is the case why are they blocking the feeder wedges ?
Otherwise it's neat but I can't help but feel more discs doesn't make it better. You could just ditch them and keep 2 discs, and make something more interesting out of this weight. Heavier weapon setup on each disc obviously, maybe something cooler ? Nice spinner and if my math isn't too faily the number is 259 (nice reference to the robot wars competitor) +1 captain obvious post 2355

I find your music bot bothersome. And i'm not a former music student.
Well, I did some music in college but nothing more than basic education. Anyways... the skin I find too much in-your-face. it has BIG DECALS and I think it would be better if more subtle; also, the blue texture under isn't that fitted to a "music" bot. Put something like these lines you write notes on. The weapon is OK, though it could be made cooler, I believe. about the other bot... *takes Tibsy's head in his hands, shakes it* IS YOUR NARYAR CRITIQUE CRASH HELMET STILL ON, LITTLE GRASSHOPPER ? BECAUSE YOU PUT THIS THING ON AS A CHALLENGE TO ME. AND I LIKE CHALLENGES. Now as I was saying... The other one needs a better skin. You can keep it cartoony, but please give your skin an edge line or two, because right here it's just pink. It would work without edge lines and a more complex texture but simple color and no edge lines = no. also try to give it ears (lightning spikes ? idk) and maybe side claws (reskin them bear claws, put them on side hammers) so it's a proper cat. maybe a tail. 2359

sending update, it has a smartzone and has been fixed. also skin, overly long name, and bindings.
