'Tis.
With this bot, its either box rush and gut rip, or push around into walls until it lands on your discs. :P
I could probably improve on it, but I'm too lazy.
I made a pole spike rammer just now. It failed, as it was struck to the ground....

Double Postyness This started out as a concept. I'm trying to find ways to use pole spikes and pointy tips effectively. Unfortunately, this design means that the DS teeth do more KOing that the pole spikes. I have only tested it once though... NPCF, 4 ants, Plastic 5, perm 132s. 798ish Rammer next...

The Beast of Truro 5: Looks good, won't function well upside-down, though.
But when its upside down it functions like a normal HS :P

I just try to make what pops into my mind. This way I find what I like building and how to build it effectively.
For a while I mainly built jugglers and VS (not touching Popups, hammer, SnS or SS)- now I'll build anything. Nowadays I build more HS than anything else. Variety helps to improve your skills as a builder overall.
Tl;dr - Do both. :P

Drumblebee scares me the most. Then 123's, Fever 3 (I've seen it in action D:) S_M's, or Badniks.
In short, oh dear. D:

If theres ever a BW BOTM...
Then you wouldn't be able to enter it as you've shown it here Anyways, can we have a better shot of the bot?

definitely looks good. :D Like the others have said, it'll rely on those wedges to beat popups. Does look like mine will have a fairly easy time against him (....Well, I said it, so here comes the GF93 ownage e.e). If it can beat popups though, you get my thumb of approval.

Well, how ironic, it seems that despite my best tries, the only thing i can make that doesn't glitch to oblivion in stock is....sigh...popups.
Agreed.

Looks interesting there. I don't like the angled wheels quite so much, but I guess they're slightly necessary. Would straight NPC's and Hypnos work or something?
Invertibility ;P Its slightly different now, though. Changed all the beaters to medium which saved me about 40kg (!). No loss in DP, but less weapon hp is a little nyeh, though it has slightly more reach now (teeth mounted on the ends). The polys changed to discs, the steel skirts are shallower, the side panel now has a disc and a 80cm tite skirt for even more bottom protection (Take that, popups!). Plastic 5 too. I'll pop a pic in tomorrow morning.

Nah, I did that with perfectly straight techno's earlier, and the weapons hit the ground. I could just angle the poly extenders, I guss. Though they need to be replaced with something stronger..

replace the hexplates with beater bars?
Tempting, but flail concussion doesn't do as much as static concussion, or so I gather. Another bot, inspired by ty4ers MW :P Plastic 3, 2 perm 132 Ls, 4 ants, NPC, caster at the bottom and stuff. I need to somehow get the VS part down a little more, but rotating the motor by 1 click is too much. Hmm. Other than that, its awesome.

2nd black guy is G.K, if you haven't guessed.
That was a tad uncalled for...

Don't see the point of having 2 separate stabilizers, upgrade the weapon motors, drive's too fast, could be invertible, carbons have no point, why DSL bars and why did you slant your npc's?
Screw that, keep it as it is. It awesome <3 -runs off to make a HW genetic mishap-

piglets are fine.
Which would let you get a smaller chassis, and better armour.

To be fair, Valid Query 2 was such a speedy little bugger, people had trouble catching him. You might run into the same pitfall here, GF93. =P
I caught it. Twice...because it ran into the snowplough of doooom :P Anyways, my bot is in my showcase. It doesn't distinguish between wedged and non wedged, and will happily eat it no matter what. Unless its got sledgehammers...then..oh dear. xD
