I was mainly referring to DF and NFX. Do you see a spinning ring on most cakes? NO Are static metal parts used on F1 cars? YES
All I'm saying is people were adding stuff to "give my bot a fighting chance" rather than to "make by bot look better".
But what else could the ring around the cake look like other than hypno teeth. Craaig just wanted to make something oversized and cool-looking.
And dude, simmer down, you still didn't have that great of a bot.
I was pointing out that lots of entrants simply added weapons for the sake of weaponry. The ring didn't have to spin, then I would cave no issue with those hypno teeth as they would clearly be for decoration. I am neither saying saying it was unfair, not complaining, just pointing out why I myself have noted.

What colour is the ring? Does the ring have a strange kind of bumpy shape?
I actually added those teeth to make it look more like the original, or I would've used a decent weapon, like sledgehammers. (lol)

Although you're sort of right, it would probably be harder for the bot to move if it was static.
