Is there an AI that flicks a switch at start and leave it on?  It is important that it uses a switch so it doesn't stop at any time.  I wanted to use it for this

It looks fine.  The weapons aren't in a position for weapon to weapon clash anyway.

The general rule is, the more surface area makes contact, the more damage.

Interesting....
I think I heard it from JoeBlo.  I have only tested this to be true with razor and ds light.  The flat side of 70 hammer also seem to deal more damage than the sharp side.  So maybe you can run some additional testing to see if it holds true for other weapons.

The general rule is, the more surface area makes contact, the more damage.  Hit F12 in lab to see it's collision mesh.  In term of razor it's obvious, but with ds light the flat side is actually the other way (the width of ds light > the tip of ds light).  But you can probably leave it if you want (and backup your existing version if you want to change it), the difference is not that big.

do light teeth have normals ?

I cant recall, just remember sage having to change the direction of all mammoths 5,738,937 teeth
No they don't, but facing still matters.  Just like how facing matters with razor, where the flat side deals the most damage.

Change the 4 mini gas to 2 large, both hold the same amount of gas, but one cost 40kg while the other cost 28kg.

put 2 polycarb skirt on the 2 side connection of your dsl disk.  They can act as wheel guard as well as keeping enemy bot in the front while poking.

If you use mag 6 instead of dual perm, you should be able to make your bot short enough for 1 large bike wheel, that or having the dual perm in front of, rather than sandwich between the chassis should also do the trick (it eliminates the chassis height).

While I haven't got a working version myself, I updated your bot a little bit (probably unnoticeable to the naked eyes).  I centered all your component and get the anchor point down to 6 digit accuracy.  Unfortunately this is the maximum digits that the game can handle.  It can balance without spin for 3 seconds before tipping over, and can spin for a bit longer than before.

believe it or not, angle skirts are wedgier than strait skirt.  At least from the tests that I had done.

YEAH RPP LIVES!!!!

Although, is a 2 sided version really better than a 4 sided one?  I would think 4 sided ones would be at least as good vs flails, but are better vs other bot types.  As long as it has over 252 kg worth of non normal weapons it should do the trick.

Well, put it this way 123: it's better than not entering at all.
It sure is.  Not that I have any problem entering star dust.  I just want something different but are still at the level of my bots in NAR v2.1.  But so far most new designs just doesn't work.

Let's see when I will get lucky and bump into a niche in the game's engine.

First bot is awesome beyond believe.  I so need to make one, with FLAILS!!!!!!!

Edit:  Just tried making one, even BFE down to the 4th decimal places.  To the point where it can stand on a strait skirt (the thinnest component in DSL I believe) on both the x and y axis without tipping over.  But once it start spinning it still mess up......

Nothing new, you guys probably killed this thing countless times by now.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to make a better VS.

I just send my VS because I can't build anything better.  So I guess you guys can snatch an easy win from me.

Does this bot really need a wedge?

as R0B0 said.. pretty much everyone will make SnS robots, very similar and we will basically have a Bey-Blades tournament. :P
I was thinking whoever have the most kg worth of weapons win.  Spin speed won't matter much unless it is against a refraction type design.  That was why I asked about flamethrower.

If you haven't guessed already, I won't build a SnS.

Well, it was supposed to be a gut ripper. But the wedges fail and the drive fails (apparently) I should have done something to make the drive more powerful, maybe made it 4 WD instead.  Or I should have done something to make the wedge more effective by distributing weight better.
The bot still looks funny as heck.
