Face it, Each step south in USA is like taking a step back a year.
Good thing I'm in one of those Northern states.

Ditto.

Does this mean that Robosh4rk lives in the future?

I am planning the release of v2.2 in 20 days, might be less if i get enough new builder teams.

It will feature a change in motor hitpoints, ramplate hitpoints, tribar hitpoints and halfsheet hitpoints as well.

What do you mean by new builder teams?

BOTM ideas:

-BOTM with a rule that all motors (weapon and drive) have to be contained in the chassis... all other components can be outside the chassis if desired.

-BOTM with absurd themes (Like... all bots have to be associated with sadistic pokemon... or bot must be shaped to resemble a snow leopard... y'know, silly stuff like that.)

-BOTM utilizing specific wepons that we don't see much of (because the weapons suck... Ex: Stock Chewblades.)

Say there Rotary-nut!  I like that bot.  How does it fare in battle? I have never attempted a LW FBS before. I figured that the bot would be too light to keep stable.  When it lands a solid hit, does the bot reflect back a lot because it is so light?

twas only a joke Nar.. oh and try the number 3 but im 21 in spirit :P

anyway the point is

The whole subject of Dawn seems to only cause spam now to threads not to mention providing others "ammunition" so how about we just keep that whole subject off this forum or if you must express your love for a pokemon character please use the correct Pokemon thread within the other games section.

I will delete all other out of place Pokemon - User relationship motivated posts within this area

you hear that Craaig? No more mudkip love for you...

Count me in please.

I also nominate Joeblo as a team captain. He is both talented at skinning and naming of bots.

Porn? I thought she was tying Sonic's shoelace...

Oh: and my vote goes to Emergency. It will be remembered by most as the bot that challenged us the most... pushed us to be better builders right off the bat.

*cough* when was the last time you checked my showcase *cough*

Pretty recently (yesterday or the day before... I can't remember)

You still have a bad habit of posting bots and not rebuilding them with the advice that you are given.  You like to post "creations" or "joke" bots for some reason.  I will bank on that being because of your age. Don't worry though... as you get older your attention span will increase and you will desire to improve more. I forget how young you are sometimes, so I imagine you are just trying to have fun and stuff.

If it makes you feel any better I think you have gotten somewhat better as a builder through experience even though the pace is pretty slow.

Hmmm, this showcase gets so little comments.. heck, I don't think things have strayed off-topic. Am I thought of as some no-nonsense badass or something?

I think you have to consider it a bizarre compliment.  My showcase is the same way... Yet a showcase like Sparkey's will jump up to 25 pages in a matter of three weeks because everyone likes playing "tackle the noob".

Fun sport btw, kinda like rugby without an actual playing field.

So, yeah, you build pretty awesome bots. Once you reach a point of respect I think that you can only truly warrant advice from the wise of the wise. (Naryar... 123stw... Scrap... etc) Lack of advice from anyone else is a silent compliment to your achievements. You just have to imagine that, whenever you showcase something excellent, all of the viewers of your thread are to busy shi**ing themselves with excitement and awe.

Hope this helps explain some things.

Oh... and Naryar is working on his AI pack, so I think DSL showcase feedback will tumble downwards by about 90 percent while he is busy.

Reier, those are amazing drawings. I really like your style with the spacecraft.

Edit: I recommend checking out Daniel Simon's "cosmic motors" work. Your sketches remind me of his style. He draws very similar to you and digitizes his ideas into exceptionally realistic looking pictures.  He will insert pictures of real people with his work to make it look even more believable.  I picked up his book and stare at the creations.  The level of detail is astounding and it all starts with a simple sketch.

Avalanche you have worked really hard to be a more respectable forum member.  As far as I am concerned, LRA2 is a thing of the past. I will see if I can make a bot for this tourney once it is officially ready for entries.  If you need help making a splash or brackets, just let me know.

You guys are still on this???????????????
From reply 12 to reply 104 you've been arguing.

If you make a compilation and print all these corrections out like a report, I am pretty sure your English teacher would give you extra credit.

Just an idea.

Incredible bot Redline!

Check out my Steel Reign replica in my DSL showcase... the grinding weapon is similar, but note the way the teeth are set up.  I found that having the teeth set up in a step-like fashion worked better.  It protects the extenders better and does not get hung up on bots as much. The grinding capabilities flow better rather than suddenly stopping sometimes.

Just a suggestion.  You make awesome bots.
