In all seriousness though, it isn't so much the ideas themselves as those who post things like massive great lists of things to add, when Click's working on this himself with very little apparent help. There's nothing wrong with posting ideas, but they need to be quite reasonable, so no massive lists of new replicas to add, say.

yep, and now it has been sold
Who to, this time?
I think it was sold to kane aston the owner and builder of Behemoth edit: SMIDSY is for sale too
Ah, OK- quite ironic, considering that Behemoth pitted Mortis in the First World Championship way back in Series 3, but it's good to see it's going to a great team

Made a friend rage on orange today as spy with the ambassador. Just wait till he was scoped in, bang bang. Fun times :P
I like doing the same thing, except using the Pyro, and my trusty Spitfire

Nowadays there are a LOT contributers... For example, Freez hosting 5 Battlebots tournaments, me hosting 4... etc. Times have really changed
You still kind of have an arrogant attitude, no offense.
That had nothing to do with arrogant. I was just pointing out.
No offence, but it did come off as a bit dickish, though.

Probably a bit out of context, but upon looking back, I found these ideas by TRiaS for new potential classes- The Hornswoggler: Irish
Primary: AA 12 Shotgun Secondary: Bouncing Betty Mines Melee: Mallet PDA: Hacker, which hacks Engie's buildings. Has to be in close range, and can't move while hacking. When hacked, Engie buildings attack allies as well as enemies. Allies always a higher priority though. Health: 125 Speed: 107 (Medic's)
The Rioter: Spanish
Primary: MP5 Secondary: Pistol Melee: Riot Shield which blocks all bullet damage and melee damage and most explosive. Only blocks the front and while it is active. Health: 200 Speed: 93 (Demoman)
The Assault: English Primary: Assault Rifle (Enfield) Secondary: Shotgun Melee: Crowbar Can ADS Health: 150 Speed: 100
- found these pretty awesome, and could have roles as Support, Defence and Offence, in order. Though personally, I'd give Hornswoggler a wooden Shillelagh or Cudgel as a melee weapon.

It had the same problem as Spamalot - they were resting on the laurels of its cult-fandom. The "humour" was just references to jokes that they knew the audience would be anticipating.

Probably.

That's not Mortis. It's RigorMortis- a similar robot Random Violence Technologies originally planned to enter Battlebots with, under the name of Maelstrom. Mortis itself does appear in the picture, though- you can see its front (notice the lifting arm) behind RigorMortis.

pussycat and plunderbird were way too fast and uncontrollable
With Pussycat yes (Probably the worst-implemented replica in the game), but with Plunderbird, it's a blessing in disguise if you're a good driver.
The crushers were about as useful as the stock ai without EMERGENCY. Oh wait...
It's mostly a matter of getting under them properly- hard to do, but once you've got it, the opponent is pretty much your puppet.

On a side note, bought a copy of the PC Extreme Destruction second-hand for a fiver, today. Still rather basic compared to RA2, but I do still find it quite fun- especially with Diotoir and Plunderbird 5, for some reason.

Might enter this with Golgotha, actually. Just need to sort out the batteries, and it should be good to go.

I'm currently known as Threepio or Moonman, depending on who you ask, in my Uni hall.
Hello Moonman <3
Just like that- they seem to have a bit of a belief that I come from Outer Space
