And... i just reinstalled Windows right now !

Probably have to reinstall everything again, though i think i can salvage most files from the other partition - the partition that could start Windows yesterday.

Still no RA2, apart from Inf's and Sage's fresh copies that MIGHT be still here.

And a 6-month-old save (including RA2) that i could retrive from my iPod but i need to find the link cable.

I love my comp.

(Posting from the family's comp)

With a nicely built bot, yes.

I think we haven't enough AI robots as opponents. And not enough tough ones.

With the DSL bot building breakthroughs we had, i think a well-built MW can take on all of the stock AI, all of the replicas, all of the BBEANS4 bots and several of the RAW bots, and win.

That's the point of my AI pack. More diversity, tougher opponents.

Gonna start since the beginning...

PodA: A surprise... due to a cheap wedge glitch. Entertaining matches though (even if that wasn't really entertaining for me to see Purple Pest losing).

PodB: R0B0SH4RK's sheer skill and love for popups strikes again. Luckiest win award of the first matches goes to Phil.

PodC: No surprise here. Just like in beta testing, HnM stands up to it's name and tears through the opposition.

PodD: Another winner than can say thanks to havok. Reier surprised me for dominating the pod all way long, despite having theorically the worst wedges. Cheapest win award of the first matches goes to S32.

PodE: No real surprise here. The better builder wins. Credit to Tlee for not knowing what battery power is.

PodF: HOLY CRAP THE NOOB WON ?!?!?! And pretty easily... seems the fast HS with a  low weapon/weapon motor weight ratio is a nice design, and i will definitely clone Ice Blast and try this. I was right on one thing anyways: Sage VS Kill was another MD3 VS Far Cry.

Maybe a few of us could redesign the stock AI remakes, to give the pack a bit more variety?
I'm sure most of us would like to help a little more in the pack.

I was actually... but not giving more variety, but making them BETTER.

I'm pretty sure i can take out ALL of the stock AI remakes with a MW.

Reier should have won Pod D. He CLEARLY put on the best fight of the pod.

Seriously, S32 won because of a havok and Crashman is the most combat-worthless juggler i've seen in a long time.

And i will even say that FfU is an illegal bot because that wedge-under-the-floor thing is taking advantage of a glitch and against the realistic rule.

PodB: R0B0's not the BBEANS4 runner up for nothing.

Phil, that was one heck of a lucky win.

Has to be one of the coolest jugglers i've ever seen.

However the rear stabilizer looks too small/short, and beating InfCon with that isn't very difficult since metal hinge wedges own skirt hinge ones.

And also, plastic wedges... well it's just me, but i prefer stronger frontal wedges.

Too easy... what's next ?

Also i feel sorry for Urjak and I WANT TO KNOW what's FlameFromUnder's lower wedge.

EDIT: and i lol'd at the house robot havoking.

EDIT2: Wham, you said in the vid description that "only 2 can pass", but there's just one winner ??

HoHoHammers = suck because of non invertible

Why are you still bitching on that ? Hell, you could have made it invertible very easily!

Oh no i won't.

-The visible gap between the wedge and the ramplates could lead to what plagued obZen in RAW.
-I tried rear stabilizers flat against the ground like that, but they didn't really worked.
-Overpowered ! You'd be fine with your 4 rear battlepacks and 3 ant batts. Hell, InfCon 4 worked with 8 ants...
-Don't know if this simple DSL bar is enough to really stop bots from driving over you.

Pretty good that said.

EDIT: about the shell spinner... i'm not sure of the weapon choice. Can it beat... say, the RAW HS ?
