Cool, are you ever going to build a new bot?

As this has turned into a who knows who in Robot Combat, I work for the guy who built HammerTime.

Vlad II

It hasn't won a fight since BB 5.0

It's lost due to it's  master power switch going to the off position countless times, it's lost due o dead batteries.

SOW AI is for bots with a horizontal turret.
Oh... I though it mean Servo Operated Weapon and it could be used for clamps. :P
For this you would need Kheper.py or something similar.  However Kheper.py is rather difficult to use... what do you want to AI it for?
I want to AI it mostly because it's hard to drive/use the weapon at the same time and I want to know how to AI something like this.

So where could I find Kheper.py? And is it really that hard to use?

I was thinking it was a replica of either a deathray or a microwaved cordless drill. :P

It's stable when the counterweight is on the ground. (Don't ask me how. I just got lucky)

Can anyone tell me how to AI this. I forget how to use the SOW AI.

Drop the armor down and make the chasis a parallelogram shape so you can spread the drives apart more.  Contrary to real life in RA2 the further apart the wheels are the faster the bot spins.

It's gotta be grannys revenge.

Also possibly because of this I now have an inexplicable urge to create a teapot robot IRL. :P

Riiiight......

You knew it was me. I forgot to change my font to something else. :P oh and Spinoff uses the same chasis as that MW plow VS thingy I recently posted. I though somebody might have noticed that.

Take a look at this and I think it will help clear things up.

You could save it as a single component and not stick it in styles. (I allways do this with tournament entries  because it's easier to make sure you didn't forget a part)

To get to the beater txt file you need to decompile the COMPONENTS CFZ file not the other one.

How much modification between rounds is allowed? Is it a you have a "base" robot and you can only add stuff for each round or is it an I only have X amount of weight that can be changed? Can I do stuff like change a VS to a rammer or does the bot type have to stay the same?

Can't you hide motors inside it to give it moar drive power?
